According to Variety JFAD is gonna be like ASIB than traditional musical (which makes more sense for this kind of movie), but we'll see

To be fair they are right in this, ASIB was indeed a drama with music involved, 'Respect' was biopic-drama with music involved, same when it comes to other music biopics, drama is the right category for those movies even if they have music scenes,  musical-comedy category is rightfully just for the traditional musicals a la 'West Side Story', 'Chicago', 'Mouline Rouge', ecc.

After Gaga being involved in the last two award seasons, I'm happy to be "taking the year off" so to speak from keeping close tabs on award season this year. Especially since she'll (presumably) be right back in the mix next year. Feels good to have a breather in between.

Gaga could’ve gone to Comedy/Musical, lost to Olivia, and then we’d be like “Oh she should’ve been in Drama actually, Glenn won that cause Gaga wasn’t there!!!!”

If JFAD is not gonna be an award contender, this time I hope it will be clear since the beginning at least so we can stay at peace, although no matter what, this time until Gaga's name is actually being pronunced, no matter if she even wins precursors, I won't take for granted that she gets nominated until it's 100% sure.

Absolutely, and JFAD will already be a win for Gaga in the fact that it'll formally put over over a $1 billion career gross as an actress with just her third role.

My friend was at the MTN set for the scenes they filmed at in Staten Island. They shot 6 hours of footage with so many looks we haven't seen. My friend and a couple of other people were tweeting live from the set. There was a look where Gaga had long gray hair and a white dress as she's walking down a flower tunnel I hope one day we the whole 6 hour footage leaks. Gaga herself said the scene where she had a meltdown was 28 minutes long. 

I already had my LM card back in 2011 but never heard of that cut scenes
