I believe this was because the goal was to make sure it was THE song to get all the attention, especially with the Oscars. The other songs that blew up, did so because they organically connected with the public. I understand the logic of "how can public connect if the music is not presented," but I think ultimately good music catches on organically. Of course there can be some push, but full on singles I do not think are always necessary. I would love for Gaga to push a visual album because I feel like they are a good way to push all the music and help with organic success without having to put out full singles. I think a part of what has helped Taylor and Beyonce transcend the pop music pantheon has been how they have approached the traditional album/single roll out. I believe Gaga is at a point in her career where she does not have to stick to that format (though she is old fashioned so I believe she will stick to it). Makes me think Gen Z would be going bonkers over it if Gaga released it now. Everything she did during that era would have resonated with the Gen Z outcast/freaks so much. Nnn yeah btw is perfect for today’s climate
KatyPrismSpirit Posted November 28, 2023 Posted November 28, 2023 Babylon Haus Labs version should’ve still been the original
Konril Posted November 28, 2023 Posted November 28, 2023 We love Recession Pop. Wonder how Gaga would've spun this if she got to record it.
BlondUnicorn Posted November 28, 2023 Posted November 28, 2023 If you guys could choose 3 of her songs to go viral, from any era, what would your picks be? I mean, at least semi viral like Judas, because something like Bloody Mary is just really rare. Let me start. 1. G.U.Y. (her least successful single, a boost would be nice so it could at least end up reaching Platinum status in the US) 2. Replay (my favorite song from Chromatica and that album desperately needs a streaming boost) 3. So Happy I Could Die (a personal favorite)

BlondUnicorn Posted November 28, 2023 Posted November 28, 2023 BTW is already doing great overall, so I would prefer something from ARTPOP or Chromatica. Electric Chapel would be fun, tho. Throwback to 1
TheLastChord Posted November 28, 2023 Posted November 28, 2023 Miss Replay is one of her best songs and if you disagree, it's okay. You're entitled to a lack of taste. 4

Heavy Metal Lover - This deserves to be a signature Gaga song. So different from some of her hits, yet so catchy and totally unique. 2. Aura - I think it’s one of her best choruses, and could totally have a killer music video. Plus it always felt more epic than Applause. 3. Monster - It’s better than Thriller.
