MadMax12 Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 I’m so glad she isn’t wearing that tacky black curly wig for jazz shows. That and the enigma wig look like they were bought from a costume shop
Kimi Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 This having 10M views, she was a performance art

They've been done before and done well, like The ArchAndroid by Janelle Monáe. Gaga is too versatile to box herself into certain genres. The closest thing we got to that was BTW. But if she's planning on actually making a Multi-Genre LP, I would really hope that she makes it consistent and solid. Like how she curated Chromatica, then pair it with BTW's creativity. 2

This looks gorgeous she looks so good, this easily could be a magazine cover the new song with the rolling stones is 7 min long? the bohemian rhapsody of this generation is coming
Almodusa Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 Finally caught Applause in full on GTA 5, but Cara introduces it as a song from Gaga’s 3rd studio album lol. TFM sweetie, Wikipedia won this round
ineedboxinggloves Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 Tomorrow marks a year since her Los Angeles Chromatica Ball show, the show they allegedly filmed. Wonder if we’ll get any news, probably not.
Puttanesca Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 Went to music trivia tonight and they played BTW so I obviously guessed the lyrics correct. Then when trivia was over the girl running it started playing Americano, so I guess she was a liddo.
jesus del rey Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 Her team is so bad in playlisting. She and Tony are on the cover of this playlist but none of their songs are on it 2

Europe Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 I wonder if her jazz stuff started gaining more appreciation ~ within the limits of the genre ~ if they invested in more consistent playlisting for those songs. Right now they are left to rot & be forgotten but they could definitely do more with them, if they cared. 2

Such a dumb thing to be upset over I am not upset about it sweetie and that "random" jazz playlist has over 1 million likes. This is something I have seen most of the playlists, either she is missing or it's one of the same 5 songs of her placed in low positions whereas other girlies have their random album tracks in higher places. She has amazing deep cuts that go unheard and playlisting is such an easy solution. When people heard BM they fell in love with it, who knows what other tracks are waiting to be discovered (e.g., Replay, HML, Diamond Heart, Just Another Day, Summerboy, etc.). 1

She has amazing songs that literally no one outside of this base has heard of.
Vroom Vroom Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 Gaga’s jazz catalog could have a major shake up next year with JFAD. It was been confirmed that JFAD will have jazz covers and original music. Gaga’s jazz music will be promoted in a way it was never promoted before with this movie. I am not saying TikTok is going to latch onto this music, but there is a chance 2

With the new movie being a musical maybe it could be a little different, but I don't have high hopes.
State of Grace. Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 (edited) I don't think her Jazz music is meant to be consumed the way her Pop music is tbh. These are covers of songs that have been done a thousand times before. Sure, it'd be great if more people discovered them but they're already pretty successful compared to other recent Jazz releases, especially Cheek To Cheek. The reception for that was one fantastic. Concealers 4 Sale was cute and she sounded better on it but the song choices weren't that good to me, so I wonder if that hurt its reception a bit. I can't wait for the day she announces a solo album of original jazz material. Paradise better be on it. Edited September 10, 2023 by State of Grace. 1

It's like the music used on the first Joker in the stair scene, that music theme remained iconic and it has been recreated tones of times.
CoolNebraskaGuy Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 Her vocals on the second and final choruses of this song so beautiful 2

GraceRandolph Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 I’m guessing one of the musical numbers from JFAD will go viral, but it’s not going to help her TonyGa music.

I think so I love this performance The way she got all of that respect, recognition, and love from these legends barely a few years into her career is kinda insane. Very few artists can say that they've sang for/collaborated/performed with Tony Bennett, Sting, Queen, Paul McCartney, The Rolling Stones, Patti LaBelle, Stevie Wonder, Julie Andrews, Elton John, Bon Jovi, U2, Nile Rodgers, Cher, Hans Zimmer, Metallica, Carole King, Beyonce, and the list goes on Edited September 10, 2023 by State of Grace. 1
