It's held up really well globally. Abra is doing better in terms of streams than ROM did despite that song being an Ariana collab and DWAS is smashing. Having two big songs globally atm and a successful album is a great environment to sell tickets. Either she wasn't planning to tour at all because she's busy next year or she was planning another tour next year that might now be a part two to this one. Either way I can see why they'd want to capitalise, she's almost 40 she may well start to decline more after this in terms of commercial success. Her health could also get worse again idk. 5
helpthomas Posted yesterday at 08:14 AM Posted yesterday at 08:14 AM i want to take a brief moment to send some love to all of you in this amazing base that tried your best to buy tickets, and didn't succeed. i know how much it hurts because i've been there before. it's not on you or your actions that our main ticket sellers have horrible servers and systems for their drops. and if i may shed some hopeful light unto you; i am privileged enough to have seen every. single. lady gaga tour. and no i did NOT get my tickets on release every time. even this time, i only got three tickets for one date and NONE of my other friends were able to get their tickets. BUT! there will always be PANIC MODE last minute sellers closer to the date, and the closer we get the cheaper the resale prices get when peoples lives come between. i've seriously bought tour tickets the same day as the show for steal prices. so please, do not get upset and do not feel too depressed over this HORRIBLE ticket drop. if you want to go, you will go. there will always be tickets available. just have some patience, and trust life to play its part. i know it's disheartening to not own the tickets but i know for sure you will all be able to buy your tickets in due time. as i've said, i've been through this way too many times and it always solves itself. stay positive! stay alerted on resellers and friends who want to sell their tickets!!! 13

But it seems her team struggled to find other stadiums available for extended bookings, and that plan clearly fell through. Personally, I believe she was determined to tour this year no matter what. She's already planning her wedding and has expressed a desire to become a mother soon. From the way she talks, it doesn't sound like she wanted to be tied up with touring next summer — so they pivoted to arenas instead. Of course, it's disappointing and honestly sad that some fans missed out on tickets. It's a shame. But despite the criticism about smaller venues, not many have pointed out that — just looking at Europe — she's actually made almost 100k more tickets available compared to the Chromatica Ball. Chromatica Ball attendance in Europe was around 276,000. The European leg of the Mayhem Ball is expected to hit roughly 370k. So even though the shows are more intimate, more people will get in than during CBT. Could she have done just stadiums with fewer dates? Absolutely. But that would've meant an extremely intense schedule — jumping from city to city almost every night. (Or mini-residencies with fans forced to travel anyway) If you look at the Mayhem Ball Tour schedule, though, you'll notice she's spending several days in certain cities, and even taking full weeks off, like the break between Milan and Barcelona. Those kinds of breaks just aren't possible with a stadium tour, because you're racing against a limited seasonal window. Stadiums are only available for a short time, so you don't have the luxury of a more relaxed pace. 4 3

Arthoe Posted yesterday at 08:48 AM Posted yesterday at 08:48 AM The struggle with stadiums in the summer in Europe (and the USA) are not just the other concerts, it's also the SPORT events that the stadiums were actually build for happening at the same time. Most stadiums in Europe actually are either owned by Football clubs or by their sponsors. Sometimes it works out (like Gaga's Chromatica ball date in Düsseldorf, which happened on the same date where a football game was planned, where the club graciously allowed her to use the stadium and moved their game to another city), but sometimes it doesn't. 1 1

Yeah she's def. seen it but I guess now it's too late to do anything, not sure if she could now step in and stop dynamic prycing in the remaining dates that are supposed to be announced. And even if she did fans would still be mad she only did it now and for some dates. 3
