opbranden Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Will she post something on her profiles? She posted four days before Disease was released, and a couple days after those websites with the TVs appeared online. Tomorrow they're announcing the Oscar nominations—maybe she'll post then.

I don't think GÁR would go beyond 17 though... 2
Almodusa Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Also definitely curious on the credits! Maybe she'll tag the producers and songwriters like she did when she unveiled Chromatica track list. I assume Serban Ghenea will be the main mixer of the album, as well as Randy Merrill doing all the mastering. Curious about other engineers/mixers, instrumentalists, background vocalists if any, etc.

Before the Dawn Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I just don't want super short songs, a few 3 mins tracks is fine but most of them should have at least 3:30-4:00 I need Notorious Being to be 5 min+ 7
Almodusa Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Number of songs aside, I'd like the length of the album to be 50 minutes minimum It'll be 43-44 to spite me I fear 1
TheOrangeTree Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago (edited) I don't see why she would post anything on Instagram or Twitter when she's already teasing with a countdown on her website. I doubt we'll see any posts before Monday. As for the rest, I just hope the promotion for the potential second single is handled better than it was for Disease. The silence for almost a week between the single's release and the music video felt strange and kind of ruined the vibe. That said, between Coachella, Rio, and other events, I feel like this era will be well-executed this time. With Disease, it felt like they did the bare minimum in a rush, just to avoid disappointing fans (since they had announced the release date back in September). If they could have, I think they would have pushed back the single's release. Edited 2 hours ago by TheOrangeTree 1
Bhumisah Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago She will also get officially announced as a Grammy performer in the coming days as well. Then she will announce her Copacabana Gig. Through in some Magazine covers too its an engaging era already.

I'm so certain it's going to be one of her top 5 songs ever. 3

The kind of promotion they could give Disease in today's scenario was Playlisting and Radio and interscope gave that to her. Yeah the silence and few live performance/appearance could have elevated the fan experience. But she did 2 different disease versions and release them as live performances. She also did Carpool Karoke. The song just failed to took off.

Ricardo1993 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago LG1: The Fame Fav track: Summerboy Fav Single: Paparazzi Fav non single: Summerboy Worst Song: Again Again (still love it though!) Best lyrics: Poker Face Best video: For me personally Eh Eh is my favorite video for nostalgic reasons. Overrated: None of them are overrated. Underrated: Money Honey Most fun: Boys Boys Boys Want to witness live: Starstruck and Summerboy since those are the only two songs from the tracklist I haven't seen live. What I love about this era: I was 15 years old when she debuted. I heard Just Dance during the summer of 2008 and was bopping to it but I didn't care to google her name at the time since I thought she was another flash in the pan. Fall 2008 came and my life changed forever. One day I logged onto MySpace.com and added my cousin to my top friends list and saw that she had a song called Poker Face as her MySpace profile song and I was OBSESSED and I also saw the music video from her page and I thought it looked so weird and futuristic. I noticed a lot of other people from my familly and school added the song to their profile. People were HOOKED to Poker Face more instantly than Just Dance. I was still curious and thought she was another recyclable blonde barbie pop star. It wasn't until the last two months of 2008 where I downloaded her album from Limewire and my life hasn't been the same since. I was obsessed with Eh Eh, Summerboy, Lovegame, Starstruck and Paparazzi. On my 16th bday in January of 2009 I had my grandma help set up the stereo and I played some of the songs from The Fame. It was a fun party and my friends and family were enjoying the music. I will never forget this era. I still wasn't "following" her day-to-day moves though. At the time, I was occupied with school, hanging out with friends and I was also listening to the pussycat dolls and Britneys circus album. When I discovered the Lovegame and Eh Eh music videos online I was blown away. I thought she was so fierce in Lovegame and super cute in Eh Eh. My friend from High school and I went to her house. She was also obsessed with the new artist "Lady GaGa" from MySpace.com. She would set her "AIM AWAY MESSAGE" with lyrics from Paparazzi and Eh Eh. I actually got high from the weed for the first time with her at 16 years old and she told me I should listen to my ipod since it enhances the experience. We took a walk to coney island near her house and I will never forget the intense euphoria I felt being stoned for the first time and replaying Eh Eh, Summerboy, Lovegame and Paparazzi non-stop while walking the boardwalk in coney island with my friend. Til this day we're still close friends but she's more of a casual lady gaga fan. Her and I are thinking of linking up soon and to do karaoke singing DWAS Sorry for the long essay above but it explains why I will never not love this woman since her debut era was such a special time in my teen years. Despite being a fan of hers since the beginning, it wasn't until her Much Music awards performance in 2009 was where I religiously followed her every move because I was obsessed at that point and then I was of course blown away by her VMA performance in 2009 which laminated my stan card. 1 1

I was simply talking about showing passion when releasing music. It felt like she had a knife to her throat during that whole period, it was strange. Even her Instagram post, three days later, seemed off, like she was forced to say how happy she was that the single was out because her record label asked her to. As a fan, it's much more motivating to stream when you see an artist genuinely excited about releasing a project.
