While I totally understand criticisms of chromatica, it being "safe" and not as boundary pushing as her previous music, it definitely satisfied me as a fan and has a lot of highlights that live up to her best pop bangers. 
 

also, 911 & ROM, while not her best, are still great additions to her videography. The album art, photoshoots and the tour are also peak Gaga. 
 

the era wasn't a home run, but I think it personally deserves a bit more praise than what I see on across the fan base

You're not good at thinking so just stick to the facts. HM was a Chromatica reject and the credits of the songs shows it. It was produced years ago and DWAS was a song bruno proposed not a Gaga idea.

HML was made, at the latest, in March 2011, which would've been about 2 months before album was released. HML was used in Gagavision as the intro music. First one was released on April 6.
