i think the base will warm up to the cover once it settles. It'll probably rank low on an album art ranking down the road but I definitely don't think it's bad by any means, it's just missing that shock factor

I think we're used to high concept covers after BTW, AP and Chromatica. This reminds me more of The Fame or The Fame Monster but more minimalist.

Y'all doing too much the cover is fine and it is very of the time (textless, portrait shot, minimal for streaming services) It would've been nice to get something more exciting and dynamic but I think this is a respectable choice considering that she is going to be putting DWAS on the album. 

 

Please tell me though that the Chappell feature rumor is fake

The alleged cover is not bad but it's not amazing. I don't like that effect that brightens shadows on photos, I think it makes everything look cheaper

Just wanted to leave a reminder that Ray of Light is one of the most famous and acclaimed pop albums of all time and its cover is literally just a basic close up of M's face, and even more simple and toned down than Mayhem's (yet to be confirmed) cover.

 

Not that fans aren't entitled to their opinions ofc, but the album is almost here and I'd caution about getting too upset over the most minor details at this point.

 

DWAS and Disease make it clear she's about to drop a masterpiece so LG7's cover could be her recreating the 143 cover for all I care. It's not like we haven't been able to change covers on Apple Music/iKoons for ages now anyways.

That photo is horrifically boring and devoid of any creativity. It's an attempt to recreate the "dark" of TFM. We are really about to get our own 143 instead of an album filled with actual creativity like we all had hoped.  

 

Putting the cover, release date, and title in the site's code in 2025? There is no ******* way Interscope is that goddamn stupid.

Personally, I don't care about the cover at all. I don't like it, yes, but I need the music, so I'd even take a coverless album if it came to that.

 

 

The ROL cover is simple and minimalist, but I think it's very good. Mayhem, looks a bit like it was shot on an iPhone—but I guess to each their own. 

 

 

 

I'm confident I will like one of the other two covers and I'm so excited about the album
