I really like the cover, it's not her best, but it's very good, and it fits both Die With a Smile and Disease. I still can't get behind the title, it sounds so flat to me... oh well, as long as the music is great, the title might grow on me later!

my theory is that the OG informant from lanaboards got their hands on it through circles that are always first with mining media from websites and stuff like that, i used to be in a discord like that, with several well known "insiders" and leakers back in 2018-2021.

this image must have been sourced out and presented as the potential album cover, but from what i can gather there is no actual confirmation in the source code that this specific image is the album cover.

 

it could be a promo image like the one she used for ARTPOP, or the one that leaked from her website before Chromatica. they were also square ratio images to be fair.

 

but as i said, i wouldn't minde if it is the album cover! but i'll wait for her announcement or clear confirmation from her website code. maybe we already know this from the code, i haven't caught up on all the pages yet so if it's set in stone please let me know

Yeah I honestly thought the same. It's interesting that the only info they had was a (false) pre-release date (and know they're pulling the typical "oh it was pulled forward" excuse), the album title and it's cover (both of which we would've found out today on the website, regardless). 

If they actually had access to the album I assume they would've known the tracklist. But they explicitly said they had no info on that. So I still think this could be a promo image rather than the cover. If it is the cover I'm not mad, I think it's an intriguing image, I like it.

The only thing I don't understand is why the source code says February 13th. Even if it's a time zone thing and it would still be the 13th in LA at midnight EST on the 14th, they wouldn't announce the release date for the 13th, no one does that. Right?

Part of me feels like the answer is no. But the dream scenario is new single January 31st, and she performs a medley of disease, single #2 at the Grammys and then comes on stage again with Bruno for DWAS later in the night

Hoping she came prepared and knew we'd find these in her code and we'll be surprised by the title/album cover after the countdown is complete. I mean they did put nightingale as a placeholder for HQ so its not impossible but that lana insider describing this exact pic and same title is making me lean towards this being the cover and it was mistakenly put up. I could get on board with the title 'MAYHEM' but the cover would truly be her worst yet... 

 

The other thing is the leaked orange font for the word Mayhem looks nothing like the album cover so I'll hold onto a little hope that we're getting something as godly as Chromatica cover again

That photo is horrifically boring and devoid of any creativity. It's an attempt to recreate the "dark" of TFM. We are really about to get our own 143 instead of an album filled with actual creativity like we all had hoped.  

 

Putting the cover, release date, and title in the site's code in 2025? There is no ******* way Interscope is that goddamn stupid.
