I also wouldn't be so sure it is the actual cover. The first pic from the Chromatica era that was found on her website, was the one that was attached to the tour announcement - close up on her face with a Chromatica logo.

Gaga never had a cover with no text on it, so no, it's not THE cover as far as I'm concerned. Not every pic hidden in the website is cover, I thought we knew that already. We literally had plenty of textless pic related to her project leaked/showed before the cover reveal, from ARTPOP's mask pic to recently Chromatica's MV red alien outfit look.
