I'd rather her be healthy than hitting some tour data metric "need" is just used because it's how we speak here lol. I dont know another word to use. Ultimately, no one "needs" to do anything really lol. It's more like a suggestion or just a thought I guess. Additionally, Gaga has stated she is doing a lot better with managing her chronic pain. I think a 60-80 show tour wont be overwhelming tbh. Lots of artists who are older, have chronic pain, illness etc are able to do so despite it being even more risky for them due to advanced age ex: Elton, Madonna etc. I obviously would rather she doesn't put THAT much pressure on herself but I don't think a 60-80 show tour is asking too much of her at this point. Spread it out as long as you need and it becomes very feasible (of course there is logistics and stuff but im sure her team can pull that off to make it as accommodating for her as possible). I don't think we need to baby her anymore. As a fan base we need to move on from collectively doing that all while also being reasonable and understanding of course Edited 2 hours ago by IBeMe 4

Denim Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I'd be really sad if the album did get delayed, but I will say, mentally it does not feel real that we are getting the album next month. It could literally be out in two weeks for all we know (very unlikely but) feels like it's month away 3

Moloko Plus Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago If it's pushed back to April for seemingly no reason, I'm going to be pissed. Her album rollouts have always been awful post ARTPOP and I'm SICK and TIRED of it! Her and her producers probably watering down the whole album and ******* it up trying to make it sound more cohesive with DWAS since we already knew that single and the album had not a single sonic similarity at all…. Ugh. I'm nervous. 1
Abracadabra Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago As much as I want the album asap, I wouldn't be devastated if it got pushed to April. Releasing it around Coachella couldn't hurt and it's worth keeping in mind that the situation in LA right now is affecting the entertainment industry across the board so it's not necessarily a case of mismanagement of the era. As frustrating as delays can be, sometimes it's also important to know when to pivot 3

And she would delay it by two months? I sure hope not. Just seems like that user is guessing though, not sure they have any insider knowledge. 4

April isn't that far, I'm fine with it as long as its before Coachella and we have another single before/coinciding with release. It's not that big of a delay if it happens
opbranden Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago You say it's fine to postpone for months, but what if another natural, political, or social disaster occurs? Do we just keep delaying indefinitely? It's not sustainable. What if, for some unforeseen reason, Coachella has to be canceled? We can't predict these things, and we've just witnessed how the fires affected Hollywood. Release the album, it's been 5 years. 2 5

If that's the case she needs to go ham starting mid February cuz it REALLY feels like the most disjointed, messy and boring start to an era for any major popgirl It feels like she almost has to restart the introduction to the era and honestly I hope she does not just drop another single mid February and not do anything else...we really need some crumbs along to the album release 3

If they have decided to push it to April, there's all sorts of reasons why. Everything with The Weeknd's album will already be locked in at this point, so it's just a matter of releasing it. It also depends on the promo and the rollout that Gaga had planned that maybe cannot be executed properly on the planned dates because of the situation in LA, we just don't know. There could be dates in March they are avoiding because of other releases, thus landing in April or maybe they decided it makes more sense to release the album closer to Coachella anyway. She probably got the offer to headline after the album's release date had already been planned. Or it's actually not delayed at all

Postponing it now, when DWAS is at its peak, feels questionable. Another hit isn't guaranteed, and as I mentioned earlier, something else could happen to derail plans even further. And we both now that a postponed wouldn't include more promo... 2
Janet Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago And when Taylor drops TTPD (1 Year Anniversary) vinyl in April. Then what 1

She can;t just keep moving her projects around natural disasters or polticial events etc...the world moves on and ppl still listen to music even in the midst of disaster...in fact it can be healing ex: Future Nostalgia and Dua will FOREVER have good will among the public for having given the GP a proper fun era during the middle of one of the worst pandemics ever. While I understand this hits home for Gaga with the fires and stuff but lots of artists are still going to release in february etc...I think last week of Feb should be fine....ugh 1

It's giving severe delusion if they think they will ever be in control of everything that happens in the world. 1

The situation in LA means that a delay could be because of a whole bunch of logistical reasons, rather than just sensitivity around releasing an album atm + maybe now that DWAS is on the album they aren't as concerned with getting a huge hit, maybe next single will be more music not the bling like Disease
