A part of me also has reason to believe she's back in the studio altering things last minute. 

The insider on PopJustice already said she's not altering the songs already on the tracklist. It's literally just her tacking DWAS on the album last minute and maybe one extra song to make the transition from dark pop to DWAS more smoothly.
