MadMax12 Posted Friday at 11:36 AM Posted Friday at 11:36 AM Not another one word album title. They usually flop. Give us something long for a change like "Hollywood is a Ghost Town"

SweetOreosOfHeaven Posted Friday at 11:39 AM Posted Friday at 11:39 AM (edited) The superstitions about album title length or the cover's collor pallet (you choose can profit you) determining how an album sells are quite funny Edited Friday at 11:39 AM by SweetOreosOfHeaven 4

Jack! Posted Friday at 11:45 AM Posted Friday at 11:45 AM I get we're essentially in the home stretch so beating this horse that's been beaten so much seems redundant, but I genuinely would like to know who on her team ever thought that peeping a February release date in a September magazine article, only to withhold any information on said album until the release month, was a good idea. On top of only having (potentially) one song from said album being released 3 months prior to an announcement. For a major pop star who's been in the game for as long as she has, this is one of the whackiest roll-out schedules ever. 7 7

But I doubt there's a strong correlation between number of words in a title and it's success. If anything very lengthy titles would work against the marketability of a record. I doubt having a BW cover helps an album sell. So it's a superstition because we're trying to create a causal link based on a mere coincidence (that Gaga's multi-title BW albums have sold better than single-title multi-colour albums). Not saying an album title and cover don't affect how an album sells, of course they do, but it's not as simple as IF gaga single title and BW smash IF gaga multi-title multi-colour flop. L1veLaughL0ve Posted Friday at 12:00 PM Posted Friday at 12:00 PM The fact that you guys still think this album is coming next month is crazy. Lady Gaga will NOT release her album without physical media. Considering Die With A Smile was just announced to be on the album, I don't see it coming out until maybe March. A part of me also has reason to believe she's back in the studio altering things last minute.
