Shaboozy needs to move the **** out of radio so she can have a trifecta when it comes to Hot 100 components

DWAS peaks

Hot 100: #1 [2 weeks projected]
Streaming: #1 [2 weeks projected]
Digital: #1 [2 weeks]

I gotta say as a Puerto Rican it's so emotional to see Bad Bunny chart like this. A collab between him and Gar could be cute.

DWAS bolero version incoming.

Does anyone feel strange how ABS' stats dropped right after it has no chance of getting #1 again, after it broke the record? Like it used to get consistent great download and streams from places like iTunes and Amazon etc. Especially when it was competing against DWAS for #1 in November, his stats were just enough to get him #1 for multiple weeks. If not for Lamar's surprise release it could've broken the tie with Old Town Road before Christmas taking over. It all seems very calculated to me.

For what it's worth, Kim Kardashian is currently being dragged for posting about a sale on her Skims brand to her Instagram stories.

Music might not be seen as trivial, depending on how heartfelt the announcement is at acknowledging the crisis, but timing really is going to be a fine line to walk if the plan is to announce ASAP. Beyoncé announcing in advance that she was dropping something music related on the 14th may be enough to avoid any controversy but it will be interesting to see if she goes ahead as planned especially if it's tour dates going on sale.

My gut feeling is that we won't hear from Gaga until the benefit concert has happened — which she is likely to be involved in — and it's still possible they are going for a "surprise" announcement and quick turn around to release in Feb instead of a weeks long pre-order.

Tbf Kim gets dragged for anything, and celebs in general will no matter when they announce something.

It's not that I disagree, but if artists like The Weeknd, Bad Bunny, and Ariana can release and/or talk about their albums without any issues, why can't she?

She's not Kim K—people just love to hate on her (and honestly, rightfully so, lol).

If Gaga waits until next Friday or even the week after, I don't see any reason to hold back on an announcement—if one is even happening. Let's be real, they might have postponed the entire era at this point.

The Grammys are on February 2nd, and the benefit concert is on the 30th. Even if they go for a "dump announcement" and try to capitalize on just over 20 days of attention, it would feel odd. Her announcement could easily be overshadowed by Super Bowl week, and who knows what could happen after that.

Having a pre-order window is crucial—it's a safety net to stack copies before the release. That way, no matter what happens next, there's already been an announcement and some copies sold beforehand.

God forbid some other tragic news fills the space; we might have to say goodbye to LG7 for good. :monkey:

I'd just rip the bandaid off as soon as possible. There's no guarantee another disaster won't happen soon after.

We need some more time. Late next week should be ok even with the fires not slowing down (although they will, the winds will calm down after Wednesday and there's a slight chance for rain showers). The era is safe and everything will be released as planned, I'm sure of it.
