I really wish she was on Abel's album, especially with a Giorgio Moroder production. But it's too good to be true.

No offense, isn't Giorgio way past his prime?

Where did this Bad Bunny collab rumour come from, besides liddos' wishful thinking after seeing his new album smash? :suburban:

When Godga pulls an Ed Sheera, releases a "collabs" album and has 12 tracks smashing at the same time.

He's still written some of the best dance music of all time. He's a legend she should be working with, not boring jazz stuff.

Disease hasn't aged a bit, it just needs the right TikTok to go mega viral. I'm choosing to BELIEVE

Am I the only one who doesn't care if her singles are duets?

for the GREAT, GREAT majority of her career her singles were solo. Until ASIB her only major hits with collabs were Telephone and Just Dance (and JD was released before she even was established).

99% of pop stars 15+ years into their career struggle to get big hits, so if collabs help get her name out there, why not?

also, none of these songs have Gaga as a featured act. It's all Gaga as the lead or a 50/50 duet. Which proves people are interested in GAGA and her contribution to the tracks success is undeniable in all cases

I'd be really into a Bad Bunny collab. Not only because he's really talented and successful , but he heavily respects Gaga and likes her music, and Gaga likes him a lot too.

remember her introducing him at SNL?

I think they'd both give it their all, find a really good sound that amplifies both their strengths and styles, and it'd be an amazing collab

Disease's longevity is strong. It should be on the decline rn all things considered, it's almost 3 months old and been holding steady for most its run. If it were a bad song that fans didn't like, cough cough stupid love, it would be tumbling similarly

It's wild that we waited 5 years for a real era and now that we're in one we haven't gotten anything in the past month

People only care cos it's a way to discredit her. She's also had huge solo hits MR and ARUTW since her last solo number 1 but they aren't hits cos they didn't go number 1 in the US even tho they are bigger than many songs that did.

I think Gaga should have done way more collabs around the time of Chromatica. She had massive artists at the time like Cardi, Bad Bunny and Doja stanning her and some of them saying they wanted to work with her and she didn't give any of them a call. At least we got a great song out of an Ariana collab. There's no shame in using collabs to keep your name out there. Plenty of artists have done it way more than her and don't get this sort of criticism plus it boosted their solo work too.

However she can of course do what she wants I'm just saying she could have had a lot more collab driven success if she'd wanted to.

totally agree, i was looking at Justin Bieber's streaming stats on kworb and without exaggeration half of his hits are remixes and features he hopped on :rip: yet his touted as one of the biggest artists this century and praised for his achievements and longevity. at least Gaga gets lead credits on her collabs

Listened to Disease on the club for the first time last night. It was a moment until they skipped before the best part of the song aka the build-up to the last chorus. But I was still thanfkull that I got to hear the 900k daily streams single on a club.

They also played Paparazzi, Judas and Bad Romance.
