Gaga last 3 albums sales according to CM:

ARTPOP - 5.2m
Joanne -3.6m
Chrome - 3.9m

 

I hope she learns from the mistakes of these eras for LG7, DWAS being on LG7 already cancels out the longevity issue so there's that. The tour not being delayed for over 2 years is also a strength because it'll help keep the units strong.

Next week should be fine yeah, I imagine a Wednesday announcement since I don't think she'll announce the same day as Beyoncé. (And she should let her announce first incase she gets dragged. :sistrens:)

We're still #1 for another day on Spotify WW (10,875,097). Down to #2 on Spotify US (BB surpassed us there) with 1,870,362 streams. 

 

BB is overtaking us on Global tomorrow though (it did 10.68 million yesterday :skull:). But we have another day of:

  1. Dance Monkey - 120 days
  2. Rockstar - 114 days
  3. Die with a Smile - 107 days

Hopefully DWAS holds steady (and DtMF cools off a bit) around the time of the Grammys and that the song gets a bit of a boost there. 

 

Also we might have spent a good bit of last year cursing radio for keeping ABS above DWAS on the BB100, but I have a feeling we're going to be thankful for it for the near future :eli:

Benito's album is huge. The title track has more than 3m streams in Mexico alone then 1.2m streams in Spain. He's dethroning us tomorrow.

I was thinking Gar could sneak at least one day as the most streamed artist on Spotify in the album release week, but looking at Benito's slayage, i don't think it's possible now. I don't see his album will drop on streams drastically.

Lady Gaga may make it seems like its easy to pull 10M plays but in reality pulling 10M plays daily is close to impossible for %95 of the market.

Yeah, we're losing that #1 spot tomorrow. Let us hope the song will bounce back in the future.

Once again lady gaga making things very easy to achieve with her greatness but this base wont get it. 

Like she did with A Star Is Born era, everyone thoght it was really easy to achieve hit singles/albums out of motion movies yet everyone failed after her with their several tries. 

 

Once again Lady Gaga making it so easy to pull 10M streams in a day on Spotify and breaking records even tho no one in history pulled more than 29 days above 10M streams which was Miley's Flowers and noone ever comes close to that let alone Die With a Smile.. 

 

Even Lady Gaga herself wont see a day above 10M streams anytime soon with any other of her singles, so lets stop wishing for kill dwas/push something else idea. That will never work.


What her team needs to do is , find a way to promote 2 songs and let them benefit each other. They should perfectly choose the next single and make them both co exist. It will be hard challenge and they can fail but they should try for it. 

 

Or DWAS will remain as this era's only successful single, which would literally would be worst thing ever for Gaga because all of her 5 years of work for this album would go for a waste since we know DWAS wasnt even on the album to begin with.
