I wonder what Gaga's chickens are gonna do this time knowing this heartless woman will leave them behind like she did in 2018. :gaycat5:

When the whole album is based off Hollywood burning in hell and is now a ghost town and she has to cancel it all now and go back in the studio and rework everything.

:suburban:

Well, she has a song called "Die With a Smile" and another called "Disease" :dies:

Lead singles ranking

Applause

Bad Romance

Disease & Born This Way its a tie

Just Dance

Stupid Love

Perfect Illusion

nothing really comes close to Applause, the creativity and her being pure herself in her art freak era.

her ego was at all time peak, she thought she could do anything and didnt played it safe and gave us that masterpiece.

While Joanne does have some of her worst songs, the good songs still make it very enjoyable for me. I only use tracks 1-6 + angel down (sometimes MR). A cute 7 track EP would have been nice. I remember hearing Diamond Heart for the first time and was absolutely blown away. John Wayne? Smash. Dancin in Circles? Legendary. I really enjoyed that she brought real instrumentation into the album.

Quickly catching up & updating about the DWAS milestone race :bird:

It easily became the fastest song to reach the 1.4B milestone in 138 days (on Dec. 31), breaking the previous record by 34 days. The next one could happen as soon as tomorrow night!

Proof that this fan base aged immensely between Chromatica and today is the lack of the cursed term "MAGNUM OPUS" in anticipation of LG7 :rip: We ALL collectivally learned a lesson at LONG LAST to stop hyping her latest albums as being her mangum opus and I am seeing more ppl label Born This Way as such (even tho I personally dont agree). It's just funny cuz before EVERY single one of Gaga's albums post BTW everyone would always say "omg her magnet prolapse is coming omg!! the gays gonna be GAGGED!!!!" but now everyone is humble and knows to wait until the record is out :suburban:

edit: ohh I see I ruffled some feathers. GOOD :gaycat5:

Everything about LG7 we've heard sounds like it's going to be her magnum opus

Wait I just found out there was a photo booth to recreate the Halrequin album cover in that event for fans where Gaga was bopping to Good Morning with them

Wow totally forgot about HMH. Remember  my bottom 5 worst Gaga songs ranking last night? HMH has suddenly made a hot shot debut at #4, moving Chained Woman to #5 and sparing The Queen. The bottom 3 remain the same.

Yeah, hold my hand is horrible. One of the only Gaga songs I don't think I'd

choose to press play on ever again tbh

I think many fans still expect Gaga's "best" album to come because she's shown what she's capable of and her albums have had their potential nipped by really peculiar life and career circumstances.

ARTPOP was a creative missfire and that's okay. Every artist has them no matter how much we like some of those iconic songs. Joanne was very much held back given how shakey her career was at the time. She couldn't shake the table musically so she had to release a tame album.

She had nothing to lose with ASIB and it showed given how much she gave toward the soundtrack. Gems like ARTUW, Look What I Found, I'll Never Love Again showed Gaga is capable of delivering better records than TFM and BTW, her current "magnum opuses" depending on who you ask.

Chromatica was a SOLID album but it's evident her heart wasn't in it given her mental state during its inception and as cohesive as the record is, it didn't have her trademark Gaga spark and could have been basically recreated by anyone with her caliber of talent.

LG7 has shown promise of being her "magnum opus". She's clearly a lot happier nowadays, Disease is one of her best songs ever released, and regardless of how we feel about the song's sudden inclusion on the album, DWAS is yet another masterpiece she released last year. Harlequin was also really good. Even if her team and promotion strategies are still a mess, her creative output recently has arguably been some of the best of her career. It's reasonable to believe LG7 might be her best album in a long time, even if it doesn't end up surpassing TFM or BTW.

while I agree with all of this, what Im saying is we dont know if it iwll be her BEST album as thats a hard thing to accomplish. Imo I view TFM to be her opus and Chromatica to be a close second (yes VERY unpopular opinion lmao). BUT the fan base has generally matured out of saying each album will be her best which I think is better and more grounded in reality. It can be a quality and amazing record, does not mean it will be her BEST or magnum opus. I still think Gaga's best work is yet to come. Idk why I have a gut feeling her best album will be coming in her 40s or something

The reason we stopped calling it her incoming magnum opus is cause disease bombed and they're also sticking a Bruno song with a totally different vibe /sound on it so we are apprehensive as it sounds messy

so when do you think is the best time for her to announce the album, pre order and next single? the fire won't end anytime soon it seems

Whenever after two weeks from now would be too late. Will she delay the album? Next single peformance at the Grammys is out of the question too right?

I can't believe this is happening to her again, LG7 era is being ruined before our eyes
