Im Not saying disease is on some Taylor swift folklore level of lyrics, but you cannot be serious in thinking disease has worse lyrics.

I've always hated the bland & lifeless Heal Me, never understood why it's so overrated in this base. Especially when a stellar song like We Could Be Lovers was cut from ASIB's track list but that was left on. Also Gaga outdid its whispered, spoken word bridge concept x1000 with Smile 

 

Clover is also a good cut song. That little bit teaser from the deleted scene ends careers

I love the production on Disease but still underwhelmed by its chorus. it kinda deflates all the tension built up by amazing verses and pre-chorus parts.

 

she also hasn't delivered a memorable bridge in ages.

Honestly, I feel like Stupid Love's production is fantastic, the ad-libs are great, the lyrics are okay for the most part but "I want your stupid love" is a career low lyric, the bridge is awful and the song sticks out so much from the rest of the album which has some deep, dark, personal lyrics for the most part. It really is misleading as a lead single.

 

Now Disease... WHEW. What a song! The intro, the pre-chorus, the piano bits on the bridge, the "ah ah ah ah" that follows after the bridge, the outro... a perfect song IMO.

 

Recency bias has probably passed, Disease is my favorite Gaga song ever.

That episode Sarah Paulson's character helped her to take out all the bullets and transferred blood from her son to save her life.

She did a very good job portraying a woman in pain, having a little bit of mother instincts, and a strong will to revenge.

It sucks that R. Kelly has writing credits on the solo version of the DWUW. That song being fully deleted really hurts AP

Entire artpop aged so well.
Its my most played gaga album. 

It was her time to fall in 2013 and it happened. 

 

She could've put out anything and everyone would still hate her. 

The era was destined to be like this the moment applause didnt reached #1 on itunes. 

 

I love and enjoy that album so much. More than her critically acclaimed "joanne" or "chromatica".

i'm gonna get jumped for this but Folie à Deux is my favorite original song released last year. all 4 are great though

And i hate stupid love too actually most of chromatica, it just makes no sense to me. Thats why it served terrible longevity. Because there is almost no message and connection on that album, she did her thing on chromatica 2 section tho i'll give her that but rest of the album is so lifeless yes rain on me too.

 

Thankfully Disease is giving me that Bloody Mary meets ARTPOP vibes so well, obviously she worked with much more talented producers.
