I kinda blame them for not really promoting it. So many people didn't realize it was an original at all in the movie. I think Gaga maybe mentioned it once in a random interview and that was it

I think she's a lot less concerned about "fixing" her career mistakes at this point in time because she'll more than go on a pretty long hiatus after LG7, so I expect her main goal going forward is putting out a pop record she's passionate about and she feels we'll love as her fans. If this was genuinely a red alert concern for her and her team they'd have been trying a lot harder with Disease than they actually have been.

 

I think we'd all love to see her at the top of the charts (and I actually do think it's possible LG7 will go #1 even if just for one week) but it's not the be all and end all if it doesn't happen.

Joker/Harlequin damage is not as close as ARTPOP damage. If anything Joker damaged her acting career a bit. I feel like the biggest problem with Joker is that they were counting on it to be a HUGE success, which on paper it was suppose to be. 

I know they have something under the sleeve as promo for LG7 to go #1.

it's not so much Harlequin and Joker 2 that damaged her career and standing, it's more so the super long gaps between pop eras, scattered / messy / chaotic / unprofessional eras with lack of content AND her cringe sponsorships which ABSOLUTELY turned off a segment of her fan base to no return. That's what has hurt her career wise tbh. Had she flopped with Joker 2 & Harlequin but still managed to have solid eras previously without mess, released more often and didnt do some of the worst sponsorship deals for a MPG (like the medication one was REALLY a big deal) then Joker 2 and Harlequin flopping wouldnt have really dented her career imo

I don't care about what the jobless aging misogynistic bitter gays of atrl might say, it's just that, from what she's teased so far (and Disease), Die With a Smile would just sound out of place on the album, and I want a real, coherent, body of work, not some playlist. So if the deluxe doesn't contain songs that fit the album, I'd rather not have any !
