I remember when the song was released, I listened and instantly knew it was not the same version. Someone plz leak it I'm begging I remember there was some sort of audio on Instagram with the trailer versión. It was like a filter, frame or something like that on Instagram that played that version when you used the ASIB filter.
Pop Art Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago I'm a little confused about this building chart. Admittedly, I don't know exactly how the IFPI calculates "subscription stream equivalent" (SSE) units, but TOTC is projecting DWAS will end up with 1.55B SSE, while it's already moved 1.919B total streams (plus over 105K sales) globally per Billboard's weekly Global 200 articles (they've posted the streaming activity for it each week since it's release, so that is a cumulative global total as of last Friday). That means it's already moved almost 400M more streams than TOTC is projecting IFPI will count for it, and the year isn't even over yet. That seems a little excessive of a difference in my opinion, but again, I don't know how much the methodology difference would shave off. I also don't see how DWAS is below a few of the songs it's projected to be under in this tweet. Perhaps it's because this projection is a month old, but if we combine Spotify and YouTube Music streams, this would be the top songs as of today. (I'm ignoring Lose Control since it came out last year and it's not possible to separate it's 2023 from 2024 streams.) Beautiful Things: 2.538B Espresso: 2.404B Gata Only: 2.268B Birds of a Feather: 2.202B Die With a Smile: 2.124B Not Like Us: 1.558B Too Sweet: 1.531B Please Please Please: 1.495B A Bar Song (Tipsy): 1.344B This is of course only counting the two services that publish their data, but I have my doubts adding the rest would push DWAS down that much? (I'm sure the songs that did better in the US will see more of a boost once Apple Music is added in though since that service is much more US-centric.) 3
MadMax12 Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago If the label is smart, they will throw DWAS on LG7 to secure a number 1 debut, and garner GP interest, wether Gaga wants to or not 1
Andraslop Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago Quite shocked that Disease is stabilizing at 1M streams daily. Two months ago, I would have guessed it would collapse to 300-400k by now. So achieving 1M daily streams (considering the monumental flop it's been) is actually impressive. With the album push and solid performances at Coachella and Copacabana, it might eventually reach 400-500M streams, which would be great given the circumstances. 1

Bhabylon Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Disease was a promo single after the lead single, which was DWAS 1

Fads only streaming era pure pop song to surpass 400m streams is ROM. She simply has to break that barrier for LG7 1

Jack! Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago (edited) They can release a deluxe edition on tracking week two, with DWAS tacked in, a new song and a feature remix of whatever the planned 3rd single is (big assumption in itself) and then they'll at least secure a second week on the charts. I cannot believe the longevity of this song. Still pulling 9-10m streams 4 months after its released. 17
