Sad that "Folie à Deux" didn't make the Oscar Original Song shortlist. Missed Makeup & Hairstyling too. It did make Sound though.

Wasn't in Score either but I didn't even see it in the list of 100+ eligible scores so that was odd.

It's genuinely a well made film and it's not even because I'm a Gaga fan, it got a bandwagon of hate similar to something like The Last Of Us Part 2, where it's just cool to hate

Let's not rewrite history—people can like and appreciate JFAD, but let's not push the cupcake idea that it's a flawless masterpiece that everyone must love or that all criticism is unwarranted.

 

In my opinion, it's a mid-tier film at best, just like the first one. You're totally free to love it and call it a masterpiece, but since art is subjective, let's not push the "it's perfect" narrative.
