I'm like 99% sure the MV for single #2 was between Thu and Sun last week. A month of editing so I guess we can expect a single in mid January. It doesn't take rocket science to guess the second single is coming before the GRAMMYs.

Maybe they want a high debut this time around so she'll release the second single the Friday of the GRAMMYs. so January 31st. We will see.

It just drives me nuts she's so silent about it. The kind of promo she's done so far has been the kind of promo you do for fans so why not hype it up and let us know it's coming instead of making us think nothing is happening?

I think she is just waiting until next year to go full promo/spill mode.

wbk since artpop the lead is a tease for the fans and the second single are for the charts and commercial appeal.

either abel collab is coming or she has a solo track the label is very confident in pushing [frontload] to the public. which explains why they did all that for dwas in hoping it go #1 before this next single arrives. imagine dwas goes #1 and blocks the second single and peaks #2.

Well even this is the best scenario we hope for. That's much more than enough at this point.  I will even never complain ever again even if never has another #1 in the future. I just need fhe 2nd single to hit #2.

i want dwas to organically peak at #1 into 2025 so the focus will be back on LG7. if not she [the label] will keep sneakin dwas into LG7 promo. knowing damn well it sonically & aesthetically doesn't fit. :toofunny3:

Idk why yall are expecting DWAS to go #1

Maybe im just pessimistic but i just FEEL some big artist is on lock to drop early Jan and block it

Everyone wants their Flowers by Miley

It being blocked by 2 songs… truly a Bad Romance 2.0

I think the early January #1 chance of DWAS chartwatchers are referring is the chart when it is published not the tracking week.

Chart publish [tracking week]

•Dec 28 [Dec 13 - 19] pred #1: AIWFCIY
•Jan 4 [Dec 20 - 26] pred #1: def. a Xmas song

•Jan 11 [Dec 27 - Jan 2] Xmas songs streams significantly goes down post Xmas, DWAS has a chance if streams are stable and AC/Hot AC picks it back up

•Jan 18 [Jan 3 - 9] January 3 would be the earliest new big song to be released post Xmas that you are referring if a big artist drops, but chart publish would be reflected as Jan 18

Regarding Flowers:

Released January 12

tracking Jan 13-19

chart published is Jan 28.

A Mid-ish January release with a late January chart publish

The early January #1s barring if no new gargantuan smash songs are released are the songs that survived the Xmas onslaught.

So yeah, DWAS definitely has a chance and not just hopium because Kendrick streams are slowing down, Shaboozy also down. Hopefully SZA isn't that strong.

SZA is releasing this friday, her song with Kendrick might get bumped up bc of it. Or if the new music clicks and she gets the #1 idk

Do people actually care if is the song hits #1? It's already one of the biggest songs of the year, who cares

And the constant talk about a second single's success is also tiring af.. i hear more discussion about it's potential chart run then what it will actually sounds like.

Priorities i guess

I don't think the Weeknd collab is Zombiefied, it's too funky for his style

Girlfriend (For the weekend) vibe suits him more :giraffe:

Idk how you can see Brian Johnson light up when he surprised Gaga in the car and let any of these internet trolls get to you about Gaga's "dead career"

I guarantee you other boat mates don't have the respect that Gaga does. God that Christmas special really touch my heart

That chiron in the xmas special kinda didn't sat right with me

It made it seem like "LG7" is the official LG7 title, like that cringe move Little Mix did with LM5…

…Please don't let "LG7" be the official title :biblionny:

I love her styling so far this era, she looks great

it's been made clear by several media outlets, like her interview with Vogue for instance, that LG7 is what her fans call the album. it is obviously not the album title...

I'm fairly certain the title will include "chaos" or some variation of it. She keeps repeating the word "chaos" nonstop, which can't just be a coincidence. She's not usually that cryptic, either—just like how she started saying "born this way" repeatedly around the release week of Alejandro and continued from there.:dies:
