It's crazy how the song is still rising in some countries. One of the best chart performances I've even seen since it makes the global numbers remain stable for so long.

It is good that it did not peak in all markets at the same time which makes the song this stable. I'd choose this kind of chart run than peaking at the same time then losing steam

I'm all for an all-at-once release, but this time they really need to tie something to the pre-orders. While she does have DWAS, it's not widely seen as "a Gaga song." It's a timeless track, but it doesn't create the buzz she needs right now. She's coming off a triple flop with Harlequin, FAD, and Disease. People aren't aware of LG7, and even her fans—many of whom have shifted to "casual fan" status—aren't engaging with Disease.

 

She needs a strong (commercially) new single to generate awareness for the album if they're serious about giving LG7 a shot at success. Otherwise, y'all better prepare for a #15 debut.

 

 

Personally I don't care about the numbers, I would only care about a new single cause this era feels less eventful than Love 4 Sale

But with this update, it has the highest streams for a western song, passing Stay's 647,794

tbh that snippet of Zombified is catchier than Disease. 

 

I just hope she has some tricks for coachella and copacabana performances. Gaga herself is an amazing performer, but it's been a while since last time she did a performance with shock value.

Thinking about how if she did this, it'd be a 2 month wait between Disease and the album announcement itself, and from that moment on it'd potentially be another 2 month wait from album announcement to release date, just say for example she released on Feb 28th.  I adore this woman but this rollout is such a slog and I can't believe she (presumably) had label execs telling her this was all a good idea.

 

We should know the album title and release date by now and should be able to pre-order it already.

Tbh, a performance of Disease where she's recreating that scene in the asylum where she's handcuffed to the ceiling would've done wonders for the GP, maybe even have gone viral, if executed well. Like, I can imagine people kind of living for her body rolls and moans. 
 

But maybe that's something she can save for the new year
