I am a bit worried now. Why all of a sudden the critics want to snub Dwas?

These lists have no correlation with industry awards

DWAS being OUT on year end lists does not surprise me

 

While it's a good song, it's not really a song that 

1. Pushes the envelope

2. Encapsulates the sound of the time

 

 

It's a great song, but it's very safe and could've been a hit in any year or decade for that matter. 
 

it's not really the type of song I would expect to get massive acclaim (HAC ballad), and that's totally cool, I don't think that was the aim.

It doesn't matter really for the Grammys. Critics rarely support traditional, old school AC music. No reason to expect them to go to bat for it.

I don't think she had any major work done recently… you can go all the way back to last year and she mostly looks the same.  I think it's maybe the new hair and different makeup
