hawx23 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Honestly think Disease is bombing because she is overexposed, negatively. They should have waited til JFAD died down completely, post Xmas, went silent a January then released early February.

I love the song, but it doesn't fit today's hit music scene at all. She may eventually snatch a viral song, but I don't see her smashing out of the gate if all LG7 music is gritty and heavy like Disease. Also, if she postponed the single after announcing it at the Olympics, liddos would freak out (as they always do). Edited 1 hour ago by Artur 2

Don't say this or they'll say you're coping because nothing on the radio sounded like Bad Romance when it was released and she should be expected to easily disrupt the billboard top 10 for her entire career 1
FameFatale Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I'd be here for the metal era like I said earlier today.

It's a great song but the GP doesn't want that from her. Trying to latch it on to Halloween was the best they could of done for that song It's really not rocket science. I'm not sure why people are acting so surprised that it flopped. I'm glad she is feeding that dark pop gays one more album. The tour is going to be insane and might be her biggest one since the Born This Way ball 2 2

Eh, she's come out largely unscathed and has one of the biggest songs of the year currently. I think that Disease, while refreshing from her, was just too against trend to be a traditional pop hit. At its core, it's an industrial rock song with a pop framing. The structure and style of the melodies, the lyrics, and the progression of the song are really not pop. It was probably always going to struggle to become a proper hit and that's fine. It primed her fanbase for the era, set the tone, and she can potentially release something poppier with more a more obvious hook and digestible lyrical concept to snag a hit.
TedLasso Posted 35 minutes ago Posted 35 minutes ago 2007-2008 Gaga will always be one of her best artistic eras. I unironically love everything about the blend of dance pop, dive bar rock, and white girl does hip-hop 1
GipJo Posted 1 minute ago Posted 1 minute ago Yesterday's Spotify update: DWAS: #2 9,508,609 (+94,502 compares to last Tuesday) Gap between APT: 693K→310K Christmas song is relatively slower than last year, we might get some #1 days before it fully takes over in mid December.
