For me it's still a mistery why she didn't do stuff like Chicken Shop Date, Hot Ones, Vanity Fair YT content, etc etc during the JFAD promo cycle. We need to see her again outside the usual, standardized stuff that she always does now. Will we even get something like this? I don't think so. Like I've been saying, for Gaga and her team typing 2 tweets and call it a day is more than enough. Only thing giving me hope is the fact Brat's lead single era was just as boring and dead as LG7's - minus the fact she did the boiler room thing, which was huge and would be huge for Gaga Even a Swinefest 2.0 would have ate Idk, we shall see in January. But I've been screaming about shows like Hot Ones since 2020 8 minutes ago, opbranden said: I'm about to say something that might sound extremely cringe for my age, but after seeing your post and mentioning Charli, I've realized her current issue, especially with genzs, is that she's not perceived as "cool" right now. It's not "cool to stan her" anymore. I know it sounds super dumb She's recognized as a hyper-talented artist, but somewhere along the way, she lost that elusive cool factor. (?) Oh I mean this was obvious since Joanne dropped, but I've kept it silent. ROM and Sour Candy did a lot to help, but I really do think the biggest damage was being perceived as an out of touch sell-out. We needed an album like LG7 in 2019 to keep that up. Wild how B€¥once and Ta¥l0r can keep that cool factor up yet Gaga couldn't to the same way. 1 1

CoolNebraskaGuy Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) Just L after relentless L. I don't see how this era turns around commercially. I think LG7 will debut with sub-100k at this point. Her solo music career is in a really bad way. At least Disease is a banger irrespective of being a bomb Edited 1 hour ago by CoolNebraskaGuy

My concern is that either something blows up between now and then or That's So True also holds steady on streaming but gains enough ai to become #1 competitive (and the 3rd is that country radio holds up ABS from now until eternity). 1

Some users should literally read twice what they type because it's cringe af! 💀 Imagine being that pressed with Gaga's chart success, especially when you claim over and over again how much you love her and that stanning her was your best decision ever made 16 years ago like... 🤡 Guys, it's not that serious. You've the right to be disappointed but acting like a crybaby in a queer music forum is sad. It's a Top 2? Yes. Did her blockbuster movie flopped? Yes. Did she served quality with DWAS, Disease and Harlequin? Also, yes. Those are facts and I respect and I admire her. I'm convinced she will serve, once again, a superb album and tour. Accept that she's not the same woman (and artist) that she was almost two decades ago and call it a day. 2

MadMax12 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Maybe DWAS can have its Shallow moment at the Grammys and go number 1 if they perform it, but I don't want the whole LG7 era to be overshadowed by that song if the second single would benefit from a Grammys performance 1
Vroom Vroom Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Just heard Disease on the radio for the first time! I was really caught off guard
Moloko Plus Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I think the constant Nurtec, Haus Labs ads, her putting in more effort for the pharmaceutical corporate parties thrown at her house than her music releases, reminding us several times Bloodpop forced her at gunpoint to make Chromatica even though her heart wasn't in it, never interacting with fans, etc. REALLY hurt her fanbase and fueled a mass exodus. I've been extremely nervous that LG7 won't be selling more than 100k+ first week. If she and her team can only manage a five digit opening week sale number… it's so over 3 1 1
ROARyals Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago It's giving abusive relationship bc no matter how much america shows us how dogshit it is, it'll always stay the most important chart

Id be quoting like 80-100k but I still have faith they'll get it together in the new year, so yeah, I'll stick with 150 exactly. mind u i made my 150k prediction before ANYone thought she'd be underperforming tho like probably 6 months ago or something. I just have powers sis it's too much. idk how i can handle this gift / curse 7 minutes ago, opbranden said: When @IBeMe ends up being right about their predictions, and she's reworking LG7 in Tokyo with BloodPop and Mark Ronson, taking us from Abracadabra to Arabelle. oh hunty u know it is true! this is why she isnt doing any interviews about LG7 just yet. She doesnt want to talk about tracks that dont exist just yet 1
IBeMe Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Today we lost and we won. We lost because DWAS didn't go #1 BUT we also won because we gained pages and pages of complaints, moaning, anger and meltdowns and I LOVE that. I am having a blast reading these pages. It is fulfilling my need for meltdowns and complaints and stuff it literally gives me a dopamine rush 5
Human Fly Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Now imagine Harlequin tracklist being this instead of what we got. 1. World on a String 2. Die With a Smile 3. Close To You 4. To Love Somebody 5. Gonna Build a Mountain 6. The Joker 7. Smile 8. Happy Mistake 9. Folie a Deux 10. Thats Life Flawless 10 track movie inspired album with a hit single. Oh fadga, you'll always remembered as disappointments and misopportunities. 1
Artur Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) The REAL tragedy is seeing Stupid Love doing 50k daily streams. All the Chroma era (other than ROM) was handled so badly, damn. Edited 1 hour ago by Artur 1
SeaOfFog Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago As much as I want to see Die With A Smile finally hit #1 in January, we have to remember that LG7 will be released just one month later. Disease hasn't been discovered by the general public, who consequently doesn't know about the upcoming album. It's time to move on and focus on the second single as soon as it gets released. 2
