I fuckin hate Bobby with his smug ass face and attitude thinking he has dominion over Gaga just because he can use her real name when having one on one convos with her like how Laurain Warren had dominion over the demon Valak once she knew its name in The Conjuring 2. Ugh

Yeah album success is different to single success. More of her fans will be here for the album than they were for the singles so no need to panic about the album yet. Also her label/team seems to usually save their most commercial song for the second single. They push the second single the most too. At least they did with MR and ROM.

I agree with this, but I'm starting to wonder how many fans will actually show up to buy vinyls or albums. "Disease" is an incredible song and exactly what the fandom has been asking for over the years, but the damage seems to be done.

Harlequin debuted with 25,000 copies, while L4S with 41,000.

Chromatica had a debut of 274,000, including 205,000 pure sales. If we apply a similar proportion to LG7, akin to the jump between Harlequin and L4S, we might expect an LG7 debut around 125,000. :rip:

What did I miss? Why are we blaming Gaga and Bobby? They did everything that artists do nowadays when a song is approaching the number one spot: discounts, multiple versions, and even the double feature during Disease's release week when it seemed like they had a chance at #1. I know that, as fans, we're always hungry for more content, but they did what everyone else is doing in 2024.

The idea that she has few fans left in the US is a separate issue, and it's tied to years of disappointments building up (Harlequin was the final straw for so many of her pop fans).

But don't you think we're all overreacting about a #2 peak, especially after dominating the charts for the past 4 months? C'mon now.

We have bigger issues, like people not being interested at all in her lead single from the upcoming album.

And she released many new projects back to back back to back kinda confused GP.

I kinda want her to disappear until 2026 and start all over again :rip:

People think harlequin is her new album.

I'm trying to maintain a positive mindset amidst all this chaos, but we're getting hit left and right. I can't take it anymore.

That pregnant girl who saw Gaga in the airport posted another video where she was supposedly "vlogging" when Gaga walked in :rip: she's milking it up.

I don't really think the side projects are a good indicator. People were here for c2c but not for two more of the same kind of thing (which is a shame cos HQ is is better than C2C and LFS). I dunno what the debut will be but lets not start melting down about that just cos DWAS didn't go number 1.

No Top 5 single for LG7, her only major solo studio album to do so.

I'm already prepared.

Girl noone cares about #2.

We question WHY, and the reason is obvious. She have no fans left in US and WW kinda alarming too.

They released 748448284737373 versions on all platforms only to sell 7.5k is crazy. Even megan the stallion sold 120k pure earlier this year with same amount of versions.

Not even 1k little monsters left in US to buy 10-15 verisons of DWAS. :deadbanana2:

You are rigjt and you should say it. Gaga is in a very bad team tbh.

It's not even that hard.

1. Million Reasons was a smart lead single and palette cleanser. That's what that era was but Interscope released the wrong lead.

2. Always Remember Us This Way would've been better off as a second single especially since it was showing signs in real time that it was a smash yet Interscope decided to pro-long Shallow's longevity which would've come regardless because of how the streaming era works so it was a missed opportunity.

3. Stupid Love leaking should've made it be scrapped as a single. Go with Rain On Me because it's catchy as **** and make it SOLO because Ariana is not needed. It would've gone #1 on the basis of ASIB hype and catchiness. A solo Gaga #1 went away. If anything, release Stupid Love as a FEATURE with Ariana so it was completely different from the version that leaked which would've sounded new to the ones who already heard the leaked version many times.

4. Release Disease with video in the same day and the performances throughout the week. A promo single a month later and a second official single in January. And launch the album with it but be ready as **** if another song takes off to shoot a video and promote it.

5. Don't do another jazz album after the disappointing sales of Love For Sale.

She would've been in a way better position commercially. She isn't flopping because people are over her, she isn't flopping because she alienated her fanbase. It's all on her team. If she had a better one she would've been top 10 with most releases.

I get y'all are upset but genuinely why do you care so much about this? Just engage with the music and enjoy it for what it is. It's really not hard to disengage with negativity and just appreciate numbers and music for what it is. I get that stan culture has rotted us collectively but like, maybe its time to find other hobbies if you've been crashing out about Gaga every day in here since Chromatica. It's not 2020 anymore we can enjoy her music and also support it. She's like a billionare and is gonna embark on the biggest tour of her career next year we really don't need to be collectively so negative and combative about a spotify counter and a billboard chart.

A lot of big hits don't reach #1. Just this year we had Espresso and BOAF among the pop girls.

It's really not that serious and DWAS still is a huge smash. :rip:

I do feel sorry for her tho. You can tell she put everything into the Joker movie and was let down by the director, exactly the same thing that happened with HOG but at least that did OK at the BO. Then HQ flops, then disease flops and she's just missed her best shot at another number 1. A terrible year for her and she really didn't deserve that.

I hope the album does well and she's able to get some good roles with decent directors to help her film career bounce back.

Well, maybe DWAS didn't get that big of a push from fans because it's not part of a specific era and not a solo Gaga song fighting for #1? We can't judge that as the Disease vinyls and cd's haven't even been released.

I support DWAS but I support Disease way more. I always support soloGa more than collabGa for some reason.

What we should do to cheer us up is stream Disease to maybe help it re-enter the Spotify chart tomorrow
