I wonder if her Rio show will have a new stage, or she will use the LG7 tour one. I pray for both performances + stage to be exclusive.  Madonna got a big boost in the country after her performance. Like, HUGE. And she did the same show she was doing while touring, if I'm not mistaken. If Gaga manages to create something new that Brazilians are able to relate to, I can't even imagine the peaks she may get.

 

People in here love to be acknowledged. Bruno did 14 sold out shows last month and everyone in the country stans him because he shared lots of Brazilian-related content in his social media.

Or it was more like "yeah it's a bit too loud for radio and not like anything in music right now BUT we have JFAD and it will catapult it for sure" and then when JFAD bombed they were left with nothing other than the GP and organic success. But of course they have another song they think is worth single treatment for the album launch.

That would be amazing. Although I feel like a power ballad (somehow connected to the country) would end up being the biggest hit. Funk tends to get old super quickly. And ARUTW, Shallow and DWAS were all super super huge and still do great in here.

 

I just hope she stays away from Brazilian features, specially Anitta.   A solo song produced by the best Brazilian producers could be amazing. 

 

I also saw Alok (our biggest EDM producer/artist right now) replying on her Gagachella insta announcement. Never saw him commenting on her posts before, so I would not be surprised if they have something planned for the future.

It will cut on the budget Interscope would give her for any potential era afterwards. People forget that labels invest in this and need to get the money back so charts and chart success will always be a relevant factor.

I saw some people say this song must be the same as Dancing in the shadows because the "chord progression" or what was the same. Is that really true, do our musically inclined members think the 2 are the same?

Yeah. The profits she gets from her catalogue alone (besides the huge collabs and random projects) are probably enough to make Flopterscope happy to give her money for 10 more big eras.

It really is weird that shes choosing to release a monster / Halloween themed album in February, I wonder what the intent of that was. Especially if the album was finished this summer.
