Yes, welcome to 2024. Glad you could finally arrive.

And tbh, y'all, Disease live would be a mess. Let's not subject ourselves or her to that. :rip:

Some people don't care about charts like y'all and just want a quality live performance.

So have most artists of her calibre. It's a shame but it's just the reality of the industry today.

I know, and it's not about charts — It's just been so long since we've had a proper, full-blown Gaga pop TV performance. I really think there's a whole generation that doesn't know what she's capable of in that regard. :monkey:

Yeah, we're probably going to have to wait until album release week for that. At least we may get a DWAS Grammy performance before then.

Huh???? We've already heard Disease live twice already lmao, but with this mentality I guess we shouldn't subject Gaga or ourselves to any live performances of LG7 songs moving forward? Plus, this type of electronic music is meant to be performed live, sit for a second and think about what you're typing before you push send.

Anyways, she's probably going to do TV spots like SNL closer to album release like she always does for the past 15+ years.

Idk, it really does feel like Gar is hungry for LG7 success with Coachella and her still pushing Disease, I think if she's performing at the Grammys next year she's going to do a song from the album (and maybe a second performance with Bruno for DWAS).

It's possible but she also could wait until the 2026 Grammy's to perform LG7 material since she will likely be nominated again for music from that album, kinda like what she did in the Joanne era. Most artists tend to perform the music they are nominated for at the Grammy's rather than promoting their latest stuff. Although she did break that tradition with Born This Way so we shall see :duca:

I hit submit by accident :rip: and Shallow really is massive. 2.6 billion on Spotify, 2.4 billion on Youtube Music, 1.7 billion views on the MV alone, 788 million views on the Oscar performance. A SMASH

Lady Gaga's biggest songs on Youtube Music (which isn't nearly as important as Spotify but DWAS is smashing there too so might as well watch it):

  • Bad Romance: 2.6 billion plays
  • Shallow: 2.4 billion plays
  • Poker Face: 2.2 billion plays
  • ARUTW: 1 billion plays
  • Telephone: 917 million plays
  • Alejandro: 863 million plays
  • Judas: 836 million plays
  • Just Dance: 778 million plays
  • Applause: 672 million plays
  • Rain on Me: 600 million plays
  • Million Reasons: 562 million plays
  • Die with a Smile: 532 million plays
  • Born This Way: 532 million plays

4 songs over 1 billion :clap3: DWAS will get there probably sooner rather than later, and I'm curious how long it'll take Telephone to get there as well.

edit: I'm also predicting that Shallow pulls ahead of Bad Romance sometime within the next year since its MV + the Oscar performance are consistently pulling a lot of streams.

  • Bad Romance: 2.6 billion plays
  • Shallow: 2.4 billion plays
  • Poker Face: 2.2 billion plays
  • ARUTW: 1 billion plays
  • Telephone: 919 million plays
  • I'll Never Love Again: 866 million plays
  • Alejandro: 865 million plays
  • Judas: 842 million plays
  • Just Dance: 781 million plays
  • Applause: 673 million plays
  • Die with a Smile: 606 million plays
  • Rain on Me: 600 million plays
  • Paparazzi: 590 million plays
  • Million Reasons: 563 million plays
  • Born This Way: 532 million plays

Only included songs at 500 million plays or more.

Amazon Music Downloads Store (US):

20. Die with a Smile (sped-up)

21. Die with a Smile (instrumental accoustic)

30. Die with a Smile

35. A Bar Song (Tipsy)

38. Die with a Smile (Live in Las Vegas)

42. Die with a Smile (acoustic)

47. Die with a Smile (Instrumental)

94. A Bar Song (Tipsy)

The only difference between the two Bar Song versions is the single art from what I can tell (both are labeled as explicit). Positions 1-19 are occupied by BTS member Jin's song Running Wild (take notes Interscope). Die with a Smile's sped-up and instrumental acoustic versions are 1 and 2 respectively on Amazon's Movers and Shakers music download chart (that tracks the most upward movement of songs on the chart). In addition to buying every version on iTunes, buy every version on the Amazon download store too!

Does Bruno have a cat? Can they throw a Gaga wig on the cat and do a meow-meow version of DWAS for TikTok?

The "Judas hits 1 billion on Spotify" thread in 2025/2026 will be such a treat :jonnykin:

There's so many potential milestone that will be really fun to track within the next 1-2 years:

  • Judas hitting 1 billion on Spotify
  • DWAS hitting 2 billion (and beyond) on Spotify. Just how big it gets will be interesting to watch.
  • DWAS (mv) hopefully reaching 1 billion views. Most English MVs don't get anywhere near that number anymore.
  • Shallow hitting 3 billion on Spotify
  • Poker Face & ARUTW hitting 2 billion on Spotify
  • Million Reasons hitting 1 billion on Spotify (now this'll happen closer to 2 years away but it always was the little single that could)
  • DWAS tracking to become her song with the most weeks in the top 10 in the US.
  • What Wednesday Season 2 might do for Bloody Mary.
