though I agree that people in here do need to go touch grass, in what world does "various fantasies and escapes" mean that she's not gonna sing about personal stuff..... The more she talks about this record the more it's feeling like a grown up TFM. Similar themes of darkness, each song being its own singular story... it all feels pretty connected.

I don't think so, not with how she's described Disease and how passionate she seems about the song. In fact, I don't remember when was the last time she was living so much for a song, yeeears ago for sure 

 

I think she's just in a much better place now, and she's really enjoying this, while getting creative and personal to some extent, because she can't help it
