And, thank you for bringing to us good news Thank you I try to bring the good news when I can. Life's been a little hectic but whenever I can be in here to talk Gaga and her stats I always enjoy doing so. another fun stat: DWAS will tie Applause for weeks spent in the top 10 within next week's update. Then it only has Bad Romance (17 weeks), Poker Face (18 weeks), and Just Dance (19 weeks) to surpass until it becomes her song with the most top 10 weeks in the US 6

Human Fly Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago i think DWAS will see another day at 10M thanks to spotify wrapped and spotify year end list later this year. So it will be nice to achieve 70 days above 10M daily updates. 2
GAGAISTHEBESTYA Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago There are 2 more versions in a total of 4 Spoiler Allegedly 1

Katy and Taylor are behind with 4. If DWAS makes it (it's projected to land at #8) then Gaga will be the second artist (after Taylor) to chart in 3 different decades. She'll also extend her record with 7 entries. And Bruno will extend his record for males (also with 7 entries). That would be ******* iconic edit: and I think Gaga would have the longest amount of time between her first and last entry (15 years). Rihanna has 4 also! I hope that TOTC kinda projected the Spotify drop of DWAS, these -1m updates are worrying of course it was bound to fall, but the decrease is hard 1
Summer Boy Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I love the roll out so far, the song and MV are great, and these live performances are such a fun idea! It keeps the era alive and makes it interesting to follow! 6

Which I can't believe tbh, I used to rap the Eminem parts of that song to my classmates in middle school to make them think I was straight And the Spotify drops look less bad when you see that Shaboozey also dropped in Spotify US + the two songs that rose above DWAS (and the one that's been there for a while) don't have nearly enough airplay. As irritating as it is that airplay counts for so much (we would've been #1 already had that not been the case) it's low key saving us there nnnnn 2

I mean, of course I would love for DWAS to reach the top spot, but imo IFPI Global charts are way more important. It's much harder and rare to have an entry in the Global Singles Charts than it is to top the Hot 100. Also, many songs that reached #1 in the US are barely hits, so really, it doesn't mean much. These Spotify updates worry me for the IFPI prediction 1
Hair Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Oh girls I am living for these variants. Who needs CD and Vinyl variants when you can have live performances! Truly thinking outside the box. If there are two more, what do we think the names are? The Doctor Live? The Patient Live? The Cure Live? The Sinner Live?

These Spotify updates worry me for the IFPI prediction I get that, this really is the worst time of year for a song to slow down (and the fact that Christmas music is ramping up isn't helping). If it's any consolation, DWAS will surpass Please Please Please (which I think is predicted to be #10 on the IFPI chart) on Spotify within a matter of days, it's already surpassed it on YouTube Music (DWAS is at 597 million and still gaining millions daily, PPP is at 351 million), and has outperformed it on Apple Music for months. So as long as we stay above it by the margin we have been (which is looking likely) we should be fine Edited 3 hours ago by Aston Martin 2

These Spotify updates worry me for the IFPI prediction this is so true, but people on atrl are soooooooooooo us-centric that you can barely get your point across without them yelling 'BUT WHAT ABOUT ITS PERFORMANCE ON BBHOT100??????'

Or do you see Beyonce, Taylor or Katy doing much for their eras? 2 hours ago, GraceRandolph said: Monsters need to stop expecting 2010 style promo. The world has completely changed. So I'll assume none of y'all are going to complain if Gaga stops making music videos for her upcoming singles? and none of y'all are on the "stop caring about the charts" bandwagon?
Mr. Stratus Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago 3 hours ago, GraceRandolph said: Monsters need to stop expecting 2010 style promo. The world has completely changed. Yeah a single will gain traction when it's put on playlists and on radio. If it's still free-falling GP won't like it. We don't need big performances on Ellen lol. TikTok can expose it to Gen Z, but it's harder for a noisy solo PopGa song to capture youngsters lol
Florence Belch Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Maybe we can expect the "four live performances" tactic for also the second single Imagine: Lady Gaga - Abracadabra (The Abra Live) Lady Gaga - Abracadabra (The Ca Live) Lady Gaga - Abracadabra (The Da Live) Lady Gaga - Abracadabra (The Second Abra Live) I'm ready to sing along them while sounding like a screeching crow 4 2
Arthoe Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Is the irony not lost on anybody about complaining about "She might stop doing music videos" as if she hadn't already done that already. And in eras where music videos actually meant more. Like... Gaga not giving visuals at all or delivering them way after the fanbase gave up & stopped caring because it took so long is the norm.

l3disko Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Some of y'all "arts not the charts" people are more "charts not the arts" than you think. idgaf if doing a small scale live performance infront of an audience is considered "outdated" promo. I would take it over another TikTok video any day.
