Thank you  I try to bring the good news when I can. Life's been a little hectic but whenever I can be in here to talk Gaga and her stats I always enjoy doing so. 
 

another fun stat: DWAS will tie Applause for weeks spent in the top 10 within next week's update. Then it only has Bad Romance (17 weeks), Poker Face (18 weeks), and Just Dance (19 weeks) to surpass until it becomes her song with the most top 10 weeks in the US

i think DWAS will see another day at 10M thanks to spotify wrapped and spotify year end list later this year.

 

So it will be nice to achieve 70 days above 10M daily updates.

I love the roll out so far, the song and MV are great, and these live performances are such a fun idea! It keeps the era alive and makes it interesting to follow!

Whoops, I forgot Love the Way You Lie. Which I can't believe tbh, I used to rap the Eminem parts of that song to my classmates in middle school to make them think I was straight

 

And the Spotify drops look less bad when you see that Shaboozey also dropped in Spotify US + the two songs that rose above DWAS (and the one that's been there for a while) don't have nearly enough airplay. As irritating as it is that airplay counts for so much (we would've been #1 already had that not been the case) it's low key saving us there nnnnn

Oh, to be honest I don't really care about the Hot 100 #1. I mean, of course I would love for DWAS to reach the top spot, but imo IFPI Global charts are way more important. It's much harder and rare to have an entry in the Global Singles Charts than it is to top the Hot 100. Also, many songs that reached #1 in the US are barely hits, so really, it doesn't mean much. These Spotify updates worry me for the IFPI prediction

I get that, this really is the worst time of year for a song to slow down (and the fact that Christmas music is ramping up isn't helping). If it's any consolation, DWAS will surpass Please Please Please (which I think is predicted to be #10 on the IFPI chart) on Spotify within a matter of days, it's already surpassed it on YouTube Music (DWAS is at 597 million and still gaining millions daily, PPP is at 351 million), and has outperformed it on Apple Music for months. So as long as we stay above it by the margin we have been (which is looking likely) we should be fine

idgaf if doing a small scale live performance infront of an audience is considered "outdated" promo. I would take it over another TikTok video any day.
