My favorite part of stanning Gaga during TFM-ARTPOP era were the daily "walking in nyc with a FIERCE unique look" paparazzi shots.

 

they established the aesthetics of the era and were so much fun to watch and dissect. You never knew what she was gonna wear and how she was going to emote in the look.

 

I feel like these TikToks are the evolved version of that concept, and I really like it.

SL will ultimately have better chart peaks and runs so it's a bigger "hit" on paper but I think (and hope) Disease will have a better long-term streaming performance, especially if LG7 is a strong body of work top-to-bottom.

 

SL was already down to sub 1M (985k) on the filtered chart by Day 43 (which would be Dec 7 for Disease) but hopefully Disease won't reach that low by plummeting again and starts stabilizing soon.

Chart peaks are less important. ARUTW charted lower than SL, but it is obvious a way bigger hit.

I agree it serves a similar purpose but I do miss private in publicga. I hope she will be more out in the new year approaching album release. It's wise for her to lay low a bit since she's at risk of overexposure following FAD negativity. 
 

I am enjoying the slow drip of the Disease era and her focus on digital promo to building up to LG7.

There are 100 songs in the Top 100. Most of the chart had decreases and Disease had the SIXTH biggest increase on the chart. Sixth biggest. This is not a bad sign at all. Whatever Gaga is doing she's doing something right because such increases for a flop song aren't happening. Name me one flop song that had such a big increase so long after release? 

 

This is such great news for the song. She needs to keep them TikToks coming. The fact that TikTok is probably the biggest promotional tool for everyone is so funny but quite impressive.
