Unfortunately one day of a boost will be enough to keep the #1 especially when DWAS can't afford to lose any points since it's so close. Last year, many songs rose several positions on H100 with only one day of a boost.

 

Then the week after there's the NFL performance which should keep it at #1. It's just bad timing all around. ABS staying at #1 until Mariah is the most likely scenario and I don't want anyone to get their hopes up too much (even if the early/mid week projections say otherwise).

Tiktok is really changing the music promotion. Live performances does not work anymore. What Gaga is doing is the best way to promote new music.

Thank you! The more times she uses the sound (or reposts TikToks of other creators using it), the more exposure it gets as people want their own videos to go viral and see using the Disease sound as a way to do it. It's a great promo strategy which makes me think either she came up with it herself or brought some new blood into the Haus because I don't see any other members having this level of strategy

One simple thing that could help a lot is having a professional photographer/editing team to take pictures of all the looks she always serves on a daily basis, so she can post them on insta (like Bey does).

 

I know her brand is less "polished" than Bey's, but still. There are so many amazing looks that go completely wasted (some we probably will never see at all).

Yep, I've noticed a slight increase as well. It's also spawning new sounds which is usually a major first step towards virality.

 

Like this W2 edit was posted yesterday and uses a Judas x Disease mashup with 80k likes. The sound got ~70 new videos since.

 

 

Obviously this doesn't mean it's a viral smash in the making or whatever but even a little boost would be nice for some stability later.

 

Also screaming at the new tiktok, keep pumpin' em out queen. It might not move the needle significantly but we're here eating it all up!

I'm happy because she's showing that she's passionate about Disease and smart enough to know which promo works in 2024. And that mashup going viral would be really good because it would promote both Disease and Judas. All while DWAS sits pretty at the top of the charts. See when you have a good discography
