Aston Martin Posted November 14 Posted November 14 The fact that DWAS has been out for a little less than 3 months and it's this close to 1 billion streams on Spotify alone like I think we've gotten so used to DWAS smashing that we really don't have perspective on how insane that is. Add in the 548 million plays on Youtube Music, and the amazing performance on Apple Music, and you end up with one of the biggest hits of the decade thus far 8
Smeagol Posted November 14 Posted November 14 As they say, those who always have something negative to say are the first to comment. I am not surprised that comment sections are always infested with negative comments, and this is true to all artist, not just GaGa I see 40k+ likes on the Popbase post. And most of the news pages on Facebook have tons of heart and like reactions, so that's all that matters. I still see comments about "they gonna make it musical" "she will ruin it" but there also a LOT in the replies defending her. I opened a profile from one negative comment and the person turned out to be a Madonna fan. 4
GipJo Posted November 14 Posted November 14 If last year's steam is any indicator, DWAS could stay at #1 through most of December as well. Last year it was until the Friday before Christmas that AIWFCIY climbed to above 10m streams and fell out immediately after 25th, if DWAS stays at 9m stream throughout December, that song probably will only take over from 20th to 25th. With no release in sight, DWAS is safe to reclaim the throne until next big releases (hopefully LG7's second single). 1

DarkGa Posted November 14 Posted November 14 If she's waiting for the right moment to show the world a major PopGa performance with concepts & choreography, it'll be at the Grammys. When she performs the second verse of Disease exactly like the video.

Namiskine Posted November 14 Posted November 14 When it all started On 9/11/2024 at 10:46 AM, Namiskine said: I was thinking, maybe we should be very optimistic and track its progression towards the fastest 1B song So far it's looking like this: Day 25: 231.315.897 (+11.241.351) Days left: 83 Daily average needed: 9.261.254 At this point we were still amazed at every Spotify update and there were pages about it everyday. Now we're out here posting about yet another day at #1 with 10M+ streams like it's a normal thing and jumping at a random Grace Randolph tweet on the following post It's been quite a journey reporting these Race to 1B updates to you my fellow girlies and I'm happy it went from being very optimistic to completely destroying the previous record! Thanks again to @Artur for the initial idea 10

FrederickGa Posted November 14 Posted November 14 5 hours ago, opbranden said: I'm honestly shocked by the overwhelmingly negative reaction to this cameo news. After Bloody Mary went viral, everyone was talking about how perfect Gaga would be for a role in season 2. Now, it's wild to see that nearly 90% of the comments are negative. I really underestimated how much the flop of Joker 2 impacted her image. I figured that since so few people actually watched it, no one would remember or hold it against her (considering she was the only saving grace for that movie). But it seems like the general impression has stuck: people think she "turned it into a musical," and now they're worried she'll somehow ruin Wednesday, even though it's just a cameo. I get that people love to hate, but if they're upset, they should direct it at Todd Phillips instead. He's the one responsible for what happened It's because of JFAD, it ruined her image as an actress 1 2
