The only ones who have a negative reaction to this news are the ones who never liked her to begin with who coincidentally also happen to be stans of other pop girls who failed with their acting transitions. Gaga remains multi-talented, booked and busy. I've seen negative reactions all over Reddit. It's definitely a mixed bag. 1

Gaga is the last one to care about negativity. This is crickets compares to the days of TF to ARTPOP. Negativity can't truly bring someone down forever if they have talents to back them up, which Gaga has plenty. Just like GP still listen to DWAS despite all the negativity around her rn. Can't say the same for other talentless artists.

Pop Art Posted November 14 Posted November 14 One thing we've got to give Gaga's team credit for is utilizing the few collabs she does extremely well (for the most part) in a way that benefits her career most optimally at the right time. She didn't really need any help in 2009, but if she was gonna do a Beyoncé collab, that was the best time to do it since it was during Bey's commercial peak as well. Rain On Me was the first major collab from Ariana after her 2019 peak (well, it was going to be, but the delayed release put it two weeks behind her Justin collab — the point still stands though), which gave it a natural advantage than if they were to collab now. Die With a Smile benefits from being Bruno's first big release in literally years. 2020 was also a great time to collab with BlackPink (though they majorly fumbled the song's potential). It's promising seeing that they seem to have a knack for knowing who to collab with and when in terms of career timing like this. I have to wonder if they have another big collab up their sleeves for LG7 and who it might be. People have been saying The Weeknd, but he's not exactly a hot commodity at the moment anymore so I hope they're not banking on him if he is indeed on LG7. I'm kind of hoping for Chappell Roan as has also been rumored. Not only could they make a fire track (imagine if they did some type of song about fame — they both have unique but also similar perspectives and public identities with fame so that could be amazing), but she has insane hype right now for whatever she releases next since her latest release was Good Luck, Babe! just as she was starting to blow up earlier this year. Imagine if Gaga was to capitalize on that with a second or third single having Chappell on it and it being Chappell's first new release since Good Luck, Babe! 3

Go on Instagram under the Rotten Tomatoes post the comments are mixed, go under FilmUpdates one of the biggest film accounts on Twitter, same thing. Saw some negative comments under the Deadline's post too. Mostly people saying 'oh God so its gonna turn into a musical' Edited November 14 by Hot Volcano

To drop off the project and never do acting again? Edited November 14 by The Witch 1 1

Human Fly Posted November 14 Posted November 14 And yeah singing in one of her future hits would be ultimate kill for her acting career btw. She should stay away from those in the next 10-15 years. Joker 2 caused a lot of damage and joaquin got away with it because he's a men. no one questions whoevers idea was making a musical but they think gaga made it a musical

Literally, by the time Wednesday 2 premieres Joker will be long gone and forgotten, plus it's a tv show not movie. 1 2
Kékette Posted November 14 Posted November 14 The bad comments about GAGA x WEDNESDAY thanks to J:FAD ! ("don't make it a musical too", "now the show is ruined", "she should stick to music")
Zaram Posted November 14 Posted November 14 Quote I think it's apt but also damn, Lady Gaga you be everywhere these days huh 😂 probably the only other artist that can match Taylor Swift's productivity Redditors and ATRLers really seems to view Gaga differently
paperfectdelusion Posted November 14 Posted November 14 Even Meryl Streep did a cameo on that goofy ass only murder in the building show and you don't see people like Grace saying "it's hurting her prestige status1!". The way you can tell those film people are really rooting her to fail as they make sure to put negative light into everything she did even for a harmless cameo. 11
Neyde Posted November 14 Posted November 14 the mix on spotify does sound better! reminds me of nine inch nails.
duybeeGAshantiGA Posted November 14 Posted November 14 (edited) Being on Wednesday is exactly what we asked for when Bloody Mary blew up. They listened. She listened. It's both expected and unexpected at the same time if you get what I mean --- Completely unrelated, I think whenever it's confirmed that both Gaga and Bruno would attend the Grammys, they will prolly win Song of the Year, I dont think the Grammys let BOTH of them sit in the audience to watch someone else win that. She really is in her own lane rn, very different than other pop stars but forever A lister, forever legend. Others should really study her. Le Louvre too
Haloga Posted November 14 Posted November 14 feeling sad for her to had thought Jfad being a musical would smash… If my OGHs could see me now
