LewisK Posted November 13 Posted November 13 Wait, is there someone that's saying that Disease Live sucks? I get nobody has to like it, but the song is really good. Or maybe it's me that I LOVE that style, reminds me of Alice Cooper for example, I couldn't be happier

Now that the performance has been released, you're here complaining, saying the era is on autopilot and posting sleep emojis. Just admit you want everything your way. Wear a black wig and do it yourself. Go ahead and find the post where I complained. I'll wait. You'd better leave my name out of your baseless accusations I have nothing to complain about—it's cute, and that's all there is to say. As for the era, yes, I still think it feels a bit random, especially now that we have confirmation that the Joker bombing derailed the plan—and I'm free to have that opinion. Disease is still her best song in years. Edited November 13 by opbranden 1 1
Freaky Prince Posted November 13 Posted November 13 I don't know about these vocals diva, not everything is meant to and should be turned into a piano ballad 1
Arthoe Posted November 13 Posted November 13 Guys, I heard a rumor that you can dislike something that your favorite artist has done without being a c*nt about it and trying to flamebait other people. Also heard a rumor that it's OK and completely fine to dislike some aspects about your favorite artist's work. Just a rumor though. 8
Namiskine Posted November 13 Posted November 13 (edited) Love that she gave her another take on this banger! Very cute performance Will clearly use it way, way less than the original though but could be useful when Disease's loudness might be too much to handle when overstreaming it We can perfectly see the "something jeans" (I forgot) color Frederic talked about in that video too! Lovely Edited November 13 by Namiskine

Namiskine Posted November 13 Posted November 13 Oh and let's not forget the HUGE feat in that vid too 1
GipJo Posted November 13 Posted November 13 Sometimes maybe it's better that she does nothing so at least the base would only complain about the lack of contents. Whenever she does anything, the complaint seems to only escalate more.

And these kinds of music subcultures are kind of what's driving things forward anyways, it wouldn't hurt to make a push to some of these audiences. I clicked on one of the Spotify hashtag #synthpop vertical song preview playlists and the Poppy single was among included in this niche. Disease is less chill/vibey than most of these songs but it would fit in sonically

Florence Belch Posted November 13 Posted November 13 I think the live version is haunting in the best possibile way: sure, it isn't as immaculate as the studio version (duh), but it really gives the song that new prospective that I freaking love when artist do so Also, her vocal delivery here reminds so much of St Jude by Florence, it's way too good 2
Aston Martin Posted November 13 Posted November 13 The way I can't see half these tweets because of that "An error has occurred" message this site is giving Glitchy-level glitching 4

duybeeGAshantiGA Posted November 13 Posted November 13 How on earth could she manage to be this good live? One of her best acoustic / stripped down performances of all time. The vocals, the rawness, the authenticity, the way she emotes, the perfect imperfections, all while playing the 🎹🖤 Truly a once in a lifetime ARTIST 🤍
