Popular Post longjohn9898 Posted November 13 Popular Post Posted November 13 Gaga is feeding us good. It's nice to support actual talent and not be confined to pop music as a fan of all her artistry. The highs and lows, lefts and rights, swings and misses, have all been Gaga, and you can call me delusional but even her worst lows commercially/critically have been some of her most enjoyable works to me like ARTPOP, Joanne, or JFAD. Her body of work as an artist of unrivaled talent is really incomparable in today's generation and I'm so happy she's making music that brings her joy from a genuine place now. No matter how viral or not any song of hers now is, it really is secondary to her impact as an artist and she's shaped the cultural and musical landscape arguably more than any other artist today. I'm so excited to see what's in store next because Disease, while a masterpiece, is still just an appetizer for the feast that's about to come 19

selfieclownt Posted November 13 Posted November 13 Just a thought. They should really try to market Disease with the growing underground/indie synthpop audience, especially on Spotify. Some of the biggest viral hits of the last few years have been in this niche like I like the way you kiss me by Artemas and The Perfect Girl by Mareux. Obviousiy she's a bigger artist and aiming for broader appeal but these niche's could help build a stronger consistent streaming base for this era of "dark pop" than fickle pop fans. 5

Aden Posted November 13 Posted November 13 How is Disease performing on radio compared to Stupid Love and Perfect Illusion? I'm surprised to see a Gaga song as out there as Disease still gaining on radio.

I do think the terrible callouts and low streams will kill Disease soon tbh. 1
Aston Martin Posted November 13 Posted November 13 Another dance video using Jana Banana's Disease choreography (thank u queen) is pulling good numbers. 100k views/19k likes, and uploaded less than a day ago. And since it's near the top of the Disease sound within 24 hours, it may pick up the rate at which it's getting views. Spoiler The other TikToks using Jana's choreo: Her own: 1.9 million views/260k likes Pokemonmasterzo: 1.1 million views/192k likes Palinkamalinka: 770k views/114k likes It may feel stupid to be tracking TikToks, but the more creators with 6-7 digit followings do the dance and pull good numbers, that's more promo for the song. I also saw another Arcane edit using Disease, hopefully fans make more. And of course, Gaga's own TikTok is now at 7.4 million views/1.1 million likes. Hopefully she does more good TikToks using the song; it's the most effective means of promo. 6

I actually 100% agree with this. And these kinds of music subcultures are kind of what's driving things forward anyways, it wouldn't hurt to make a push to some of these audiences.
