Aston Martin Posted November 9 Posted November 9 (edited) Okay so the person that has access to Luminate data on ukmix posted TF/TFM numbers and the splits between each album are messy as hell so I'm just going to avoid that landmine until I can understand them better, but here's some partial RIAA single data in the meantime. Partial because these numbers are only from the album streams, not the full update. So this doesn't count things like edited and explicit versions, radio versions, and remixes that aren't more than 90 seconds longer than the original song. RIAA counts all of those. I'll post the partial numbers, as well as the predictions for what this person thinks the songs are eligible for with all RIAA units counted in parenthesis. Quote Poker Face: 14,409,256 (15x plat eligible when factoring all versions). YTD: 854,912. Will probably move over 1 million units in 2024 overall. Bad Romance: 12,386,755 (13x plat eligible when factoring all versions). YTD: 661,291 Just Dance: 11,700,621 (Might be at or near 12x plat eligible). YTD: 640,516 Telephone: 6,846,805 (7x plat eligible when factoring in all versions). YTD: 472,312 Paparazzi: 6,308,573 (6x-7x plat eligible when factoring in all versions). YTD: 408,001 Starstruck: 1,167,799 (plat eligible). YTD: 34,286 Monster: 1,099,588 (plat eligible). YTD: 114,492 Edited November 9 by Aston Martin 11

Tovitov Posted November 9 Posted November 9 Goodness, the way DWAS ending up being one of her biggest singles. You guys can disagree with me, but I do genuinely think DWAS smashing is causing Disease to underperform. Happened with Miley when she released River. The GP paid it dust with Flowers still smashing. 3

And this is rn serving x2 more longevity than Flowers on day 85 Flowers did 6.1M streams DWAS pulling 10.7M 2
Aston Martin Posted November 9 Posted November 9 (edited) So Gaga's biggest songs in the US are (in order of biggest to smallest): Quote Poker Face: 15x plat eligible Bad Romance: 13x plat eligible Shallow: 11x plat eligible, will hit 12x eligible soon Just Dance: 11x-12x plat eligible (put it below Shallow because it's about to surpass it and Shallow moved around the same units in 6 years instead of 16. Both smashes though). Born This Way: 7x plat eligible Telephone: 7x plat eligible Paparazzi: 6x-7x plat eligible ARUTW: 5x plat eligible Applause: 5x plat eligible Million Reasons: 5x plat eligible and Gaga's songs that are moving the most units in the US per year (not counting DWAS obviously ) Quote Poker Face (YTD: 854,912) Shallow (YTD: 762,763) Bad Romance (YTD: 661,291) Just Dance (YTD: 640,516) ARUTW (YTD: 561,218) Judas is probably on that list but I don't have its YTD totals. It has crossed 4x plat eligible this year though. So as of today, Poker Face is Gaga's biggest hit in the US (probably WW too, though DWAS may take that title at some point ). Shallow will eventually become her 2nd biggest hit in the US in a few years. And I think DWAS will get into the top 3 before the decade ends as well, but where exactly it'll end up remains to be seen. Bad Romance and Just Dance will round out the top 5, and BTW (s), Telephone, Paparazzi and ARUTW will round out the top 9. The 10th slot will be interesting because it's probably either Applause or Million Reasons at this point (both 5x plat eligible) but Judas has such strong recurrents that it may surpass both of them if it holds steady over the next few years. From my lil spreadsheet that crunches the numbers, the list looks like this after latest update from Nympho for Gaga songs worldwide: 1. Shallow (25M) 2. Poker Face (24M) 3, Bad Romance (19M) 4. Just Dance (16,6M) 5. Born This Way (14,5M) 6. Telephone (11,7M) 7. ARUTW (11M) 8. Paparazzi (9M) 9. Rain On Me (8,3M) 10. Applause (7,8M)

leo-j Posted November 9 Posted November 9 Crazy how big shallow was world wide. I wonder if DWAS can enter her top 5 in the US and world wide. Would be huge to get another 10M + single.

Jack! Posted November 9 Posted November 9 I both understand the meltdowns and can't be bothered even coming here anymore to read them. Never change liddos.
bitchfit Posted November 9 Posted November 9 They really should have saved those DWAS physicals until this week or next week They're close to #1, Bobby better do something. 1
Chromatica Posted November 9 Posted November 9 I hope she goes to the Grammys and performs twice (DWAS and LG7 2nd single)
CRUNK. Posted November 9 Posted November 9 So 10 days to go and she will hit 1B+ streams for DWAS on Spotify. WOW!

How many of the current crop of MGP can sustain two hits at the same time? Sabrina and Taylor maybe. The GP isn't excited for a Gaga comeback because her comeback was already released. Also doesn't help that yeah, Disease isn't all that GP friendly.

Taste increased me PPP's and Espresso's streams. It's not like Gaga has 6 hits at the same time, it's literally just 2 songs. What excitement about Gaga's comeback? DWAS started off slowly and kept climbing. If anything, it helped build a momentum for Gaga. It's the jazz album and movie that ruined the excitement (to some extent). Edited November 9 by TeemoR

HausOfPunk Posted November 9 Posted November 9 I love Gaga and I love Madonna, but I can't get enough of this. For the QUEEN OF POP to set aside time in her concert tour to sing YOUR song and do YOUR choreo...She either secretly admires Gaga or was so triggered that she had to get it out of her system. Or both. Either way, it's iconic. 9 3
