And I don't blame them: it's hard to get into full "stan" mode when the whole world that allows you to be yourself could be in serious danger of getting targeted (or worse, erased) by bigots

Like I've said, Disease having positive updates the week of the rolling effect is good. And I'm really hoping DWAS's continued positive radio updates and streaming stability can either snatch it a #1 on the BB100 right before the Christmas freeze starts or right after.

Same. This is actually impressive. I hope it means that the radio is embracing it, despite the spotify. Maybe it can start building up soon.

Also on pop radio, DWAS got a better update in both spins and AI than Taste (which is good bc the song has been gaining on DWAS there as of late) and it's poised to pass Bar Song on the format within the next few days.

I can see it reaching 30 weeks in the Top 10, tbh. Radio is still increasing and January and February are usually slow and we have the Grammys if in case that DWAS will get nominations and wins and a live performance.

Here's to hoping. The fact that the song is an ear worm certainly helps. I remember seeing a reaction on YouTube of a rock radio DJ hearing Disease for the first time and then immediately putting it on power. Maybe radio DJs will like the song enough to do the same.
