Push forward to distract/detach sure. Maybe it was just a wrong choice of words. Also does anyone know if HasItLeaked is any more reputable than deuxmoi or any of these other blind accounts, or no? 1

If it continues to float back into the Top 50 and serve stability it will as well. It doesn't need to rise into the Top 20 or outdo SL's peak to accomplish that. Edited November 5 by Doctor Dick 1
Denim Posted November 5 Posted November 5 I think they mean to distance herself from Jfad they'll release the album earlier to move on as fast as possible, which makes sense if December wasn't a horrible time to release
BlondUnicorn Posted November 5 Posted November 5 (edited) I don't think that account actually knows anything, but moving LG7 to January would be great news. Kendrick is doing the Super Bowl and there's already rumors of Beyoncé releasing in late February, so she would at least avoid them. Edited November 5 by BlondUnicorn 3

artc0cx Posted November 5 Posted November 5 (edited) We need a new smash single before the album, otherwise it is set for failure Edited November 5 by artc0cx 1 1
CoolNebraskaGuy Posted November 5 Posted November 5 I know some of y'all didn't appreciate me comparing streams with our queen's first class boat mate Beyoncé, but sorry I have to let someone know that: telephone: 528,761 THE: 502,994 Telephone has a 200,000,000 stream head start as well. Just in case some of those crunchy OGHs with bey Avis try to thank Bruno on Gaga's behalf for the umpteenth time 2 1
Nazareth Posted November 5 Posted November 5 7 minutes ago, artc0cx said: We need a new smash single before the album, otherwise it is set to for failure We will get another single at least 2 weeks before the album, but what's most important is the pre-order time. My prediction is they'll probably announce a tour around Black Friday and maybe announce the album then. What we do need is an album with 14-17 songs, the more streams the better for debut week.
Chromatica Posted November 5 Posted November 5 I just want a promo single when pre-orders go live, preferably that song teased in the Disease video. 1
Human Fly Posted November 5 Posted November 5 1 hour ago, Pop Art said: I would love for Disease to do better since it is the better song, but unfortunately, it's really not so far. You can't compared the actual number of streams (where it is doing about the same at this point in its run) because Spotify has grown a lot since 2020, so you have to look at their positions, where Stupid Love did significantly better thus far. Stupid Love #6 - #16 - #15 - #15 - #14 - #15 - #15 - #23 - #28 - #31 - #30 Disease #12 - #23 - #38 - #51 - #63 - #41 - #41 - #34 - #48 - #55 - #49 At this point, I don't think Disease will be able to reach the highs Stupid Love did, but there's a possibility it could have some legs at this lower level and still end up outdoing it in the long run. We'll have to see. Stupid Love was a lot bigger during first few weeks yes. For some reason something happened to her fanbase in 2021 right around Love For Sale release, since then she cant pull pure sales. Almost all of her projects failed to pull good pure sales in its first week. She became more like gp relaying artist, Bloody Mary smashed because gp liked it Die With A Smile smashed because gp liked it, Rest of them flopped or underperformed.
Slap Posted November 5 Posted November 5 57 minutes ago, Denim said: I'm team release as many singles before the album as possible I want a long, eventful era I agree and find it stupid that labels only do a few singles these days, if you want a big era keep going it doesn't matter if every song doesn't smash because it'll add up in the end to make the era as a whole more memorable and iconic. Million Reasons is a good example of this.
Janet Posted November 5 Posted November 5 I wouldn't mind single #2 in January album and single #3 in March (Feb is looking shaky with Kendrick doing Super Bowl)
Kimi Posted November 5 Posted November 5 i think she made this one to be her classic so i hope it's not bloated. If it flops it flops, it's time for quality more than commercial success. but yeah i do expect 2 more singles. Disease will be fully dead in like a month. 1
Miss Anthropocene Posted November 5 Posted November 5 A January release could work, with single #2 2 weeks before album release but and it's a big but, we need the 2nd single to make a lot of noise
Kimi Posted November 5 Posted November 5 but maybe the tea is that there aren't any hits on it so there's no reason for more singles. butt then why would she drop a lead so far away from the album.
Chaos Angel Posted November 5 Posted November 5 Jan 31st would be a good date for the album. SNL Feb 1st & Grammys Feb 2nd for promo. This also clears the way for Kendrick's SB the following week.

I think it's a mix of an aging fanbase and her dropping the ball on chromatica. I feel like too many underestimate how the treatment of album soured a lot of hardcore fans expectations moving forward.
Erotic Posted November 6 Posted November 6 also not to mention a lot of us USA Liddos are in our late 20's / early 30's, early professionals, trying to survive in this economy inflation sorry we don't always have the $$$ trust fund child swifties / live at home barbs have to spend on a pop star single 1
