If it stays in the 2M or even 1.5M range until long after the album drops it could. If it continues to float back into the Top 50 and serve stability it will as well. It doesn't need to rise into the Top 20 or outdo SL's peak to accomplish that.

I think they mean to distance herself from Jfad they'll release the album earlier to move on as fast as possible, which makes sense if December wasn't a horrible time to release

I don't think that account actually knows anything, but moving LG7 to January would be great news.

 

Kendrick is doing the Super Bowl and there's already rumors of Beyoncé releasing in late February, so she would at least avoid them.

We will get another single at least 2 weeks before the album, but what's most important is the pre-order time. My prediction is they'll probably announce a tour around Black Friday and maybe announce the album then.

 

What we do need is an album with 14-17 songs, the more streams the better for debut week.

You can't compared the actual number of streams (where it is doing about the same at this point in its run) because Spotify has grown a lot since 2020, so you have to look at their positions, where Stupid Love did significantly better thus far.

At this point, I don't think Disease will be able to reach the highs Stupid Love did, but there's a possibility it could have some legs at this lower level and still end up outdoing it in the long run. We'll have to see.

For some reason something happened to her fanbase in 2021 right around Love For Sale release, since then she cant pull pure sales. Almost all of her projects failed to pull good pure sales in its first week. 

She became more like gp relaying artist, Bloody Mary smashed because gp liked it Die With A Smile smashed because gp liked it, Rest of them flopped or underperformed.

I agree and find it stupid that labels only do a few singles these days, if you want a big era keep going it doesn't matter if every song doesn't smash because it'll add up in the end to make the era as a whole more memorable and iconic. Million Reasons is a good example of this.

I think it's a mix of an aging fanbase and her dropping the ball on chromatica. I feel like too many underestimate how the treatment of album soured a lot of hardcore fans expectations moving forward.
