Idk, as a Lebanese American, and survivor of Israeli bombing (I can tell you hours of stories about how much Israel and the IDF in particular lies about their military assaults - thank god most of the world is seeing it play out in real-time because when I was a kid, any sort of first-hand account of that kind of violence would get shut down as a lie, even if you have evidence to say otherwise. You think the human shield excuse or "weapons under hospitals" is a new tactic from the IDF? Think again!), none of this is really new or surprising. It's really unheard of to have major A-list celebrities call out a US-ally for atrocities, especially ones like Gaga that have ties to the current admin. It's sad, but something I've had to accept since I was a kid. There is truth in saying that Americans don't care about our lives (or worse, they blame us directly for their suffering), so I've learn to sadly just not expect anyone to come to bat for us or defend us in any sort of discussion whatsoever. The rare exceptions when it does happen is just that, a rare exception. 7
