Well they didnt go all in with the single, so i dont think they expected a different outcome lol.

If they would wanted a better debut, they should have released the physical cds, perform it, promoted differently but it wasnt the case so

I'm fully convinced this is gonna end up being my favorite Gaga album

 

What we've heard so far of LG7 is such a natural progression in her artistry— this "classic dark pop Gaga" sound mixed with electro-rock / nine inch nails vibe suits her perfectly. 
 

plus, the snippets we've heard like Abracadabra & Notorious Being seem to go EVEN HARDER in this angle. It reminds me of songs like HML/Government Hooker that felt so unexpected but SO familiarly "Gaga" at the same time.

 

unpredictable, exciting, and dramatic. I love that about Gaga!

All the other performances at the rallies have been their own songs and most popular songs so it could swing either way. We could be getting a Bad Romance/Disease mashup or a jazz performance or a cover

I think that's the case no? It seems like an intro to her era using Halloween, especially with the snippet being the next single.

I love Diseases sound more than the more gp friendly song on the MV radio but it seems they're putting attention to that to launch the album especially since they knew the holidays were coming

 

I also don't think the label cares as much as y'all do for this era, they have dwas making them money so they're probably letting her do what she wants atp

Makes me wonder if they're planning to go all in with the 2nd single at the top of the new year, after the Christmas freeze

a top 30 this far into her career isn't the disaster some of yall want it to be. my biggest curiosity is how long it'll hang on - it feels like Christmas songs come earlier and in greater numbers every year, so that'll work against it
