longer in the show business, why is Gaga blamed for lack of pop records?? Just because she is so passionate in jazz music and released two jazz albums and 6.5, also so hard working presented plus 3 films and two soundtracks album?  We must have been so gifted at whining and finding excuses.

I think her fanbase is getting older & just don't have as much time and energy to stream all day and basically just stan like it's their job. I saw a thread on Twitter using one of the BoTs stans strategy to help Disease and was like "yeah I'm too old for this shite, whatever will be will be." if it was ARTPOP era I would've streamed and done all that like my life depended on it.  Plus she's not in danger of being Xtina'd in the prime of her life, so another reason to not do the most anymore. You need either passion on your side, or young, no life having stans to bridge the distance like this in regards to vinyl's, marathon streaming, buying a song a bunch of times etc. With her stability as a pop culture figure & celeb, the jazz albums, safe or ok albums, singles that aren't immediate ear worms, her Linked In era and subsequent hibernation, she doesn't have a ton of passion on her side right now IMO (by this I mean the specific passion of looney fans, not within herself).
 

I keep seeing fans bring up her near billionaire status, and I low key agree with them that she's fine, if she flops she can still roll into her millions & take solace in her fiancé -  like I said, there's no more urgency and passion in regards to her. If she wants major success she must release something that's a real ear worm so GP can step in as her stans are becoming more casual fans - the ones who will buy a ticket to see her, but won't be following all the steps in that complicated streaming method invented by K-POP Stan's to push their faves

Also, when I was younger, I used to spend all my money on her, buying different versions of the same album (I think I have five different versions of Born This Way, but I didn't bother buying the 10th anniversary edition, for example), books, magazines, t-shirts, and posters. Now that I'm in my late 20s and spending my own money more consciously, she's lucky if I buy a digital and physical copy of an album during release week if I like it (you won't find any copies of Love For Sale in my house, for example, because I didn't enjoy it). Of course, I'm all in on streaming, but I do it for my enjoyment, not because my life depends on whether she's #1 or not.

 

Touring is a different story; that's where I like to spend my money on the best possible tickets.
