Infernal Paradise Posted November 1 Posted November 1 (edited) Some cute Gagaween promo on AM US Also #1 (+16) on Today's Hits AM UK Edited November 1 by Infernal Paradise 11
eclipsed Posted November 1 Posted November 1 Her team are really dumb for not dropping the physicals in release week with this predicted to go #18 it would have easily been another top 10 for her. But now that I know its not getting pushed down by Tyler album bomb top 20 really isn't that bad, could have been so much worse. It's basically another Perfect Illusion. I mean its performing same as The Weeknds latest lead and people aren't gonna act like The Weeknd is over plus he has physicals for DITF. The song is amazing and so is the video, hopefully it can grow some more but if not I think this isn't so bad. 3

Taylor's fanbasr grew massively after Liddos declined in 2011 and onwards and with Taylor's 1989.

Those 5-year rest per era really affected her. You can't just do that and expect the same people after many years to stick around.

ARTPOP underperformance, Jazz eras (C2C, L4S), Joanne not being very successful and the music didnt click with quite a few. These are all factors for many liddos to leave. I am glad I am one of the very few liddos who sticked with her ever since Just Dance. Edited November 1 by duybeeGAshantiGA

nick4bty Posted November 1 Posted November 1 They should drop the single on Single Release Day. I think Interscope usually does a few releases for that. They should've done it through Urban Outfitters but whatever Still not sure if they held off on the big push first day/week because they were aiming for longevity and a soft launch or if they were holding back because of DWAS, but either, I'm kinda loving this new rollout approach, ngl. It's so much better to spread things out like this. 1
Archetype Posted November 1 Posted November 1 (edited) 1 hour ago, FrederickGa said: US Liddos are so useless.. even Nicki Barbz are bigger at this point That's completely Gaga's fault tho. If she wants to drop one pop record every 5+ years then so be it, but her fan base is going to shrink exponentially. Her success is really up to the GP at this point, whereas her base from 2020 would have easily secured a top 10. I am sort of shocked Interscope gave her #1 on TTH. She deserves it, but her team usually sucks when it comes to payola. Let's hope they keep the payola for a while bc I truly believe this could be a sizable hit. Edited November 1 by Archetype 2
Bhumisah Posted November 1 Posted November 1 (edited) Instead of critiquing the size of her base it would be better if we buy and stream DISEASE! Her team is doing their part and now its time we do ours. Edited November 1 by Bhumisah 2

The fanbase was shrinking since 2013 but at least Artpop and Joanne debut with respectable units and even Chroma (with bundle) for what it's worth. It's hard to imagine liddos struggling to reach 10 or 15k pure sales (digital + physical) now but it's the reality. The final straw was the wait between Chroma and LG7. 1
GipJo Posted November 1 Posted November 1 AM US POP: #27 Bloody Mary (+2) inches away from the main chart 1
Popular Post selfieclownt Posted November 1 Popular Post Posted November 1 an artist like Gaga who's always offering different products is bound to bleed fans more than someone like Taylor or bey, who offer a consistent stream of pop music. That reliability is what keeps people on the hook because they can expect a new album of what they already like and those artists deliver. Gaga pivoted into many different lanes within music, tv, and film in the last decade. If fans aren't here for one of those eras, they might not stick around for the next pop album. I think she realized this and wanted to integrate her projects more, which is why we got overlapping jfad, harlequin, and lg7 eras so far. 15
