We're going to have previews, red carpets, interviews, an album bo... Even if (I hope not, of course) LG7 doesn't come out in 2024, this year will be anything but boring. The only boring thing is that she's no longer communicating with us and has severed all ties with her fans. 6

The only boring thing is that she's no longer communicating with us and has severed all ties with her fans. In 2020-2023 sure. This year she has made an effort to connect with the fans from social media on titkok, her TCB premiere, inviting fans backstage on jazz and piano and even reading a letter on stage and interacting with them during the concert. Not to mention lately making the effort to wave and sign some stuff after the show. I think it's a conscious effort to reconnect before LG7. She even dedicated a whole poem to her fans to let them in her mindset without being too candid. This seems like a good medium that is still healthy for her. Hopefully it stays that way. BlondUnicorn Posted July 6 Posted July 6 Quote "She's so good in it, you guys," said Maisler. "She's going to blow your mind. I didn't suggest Lady Gaga. It wasn't my idea. That was Todd Phillips, before me. But I will tell you, she's really surprising — and really good. I saw it and I was really surprised. I mean, we all knew what she could do in A Star is Born, but I thought, 'Oh, well, that's kind of in her wheelhouse.' Something she could do and just be real. But this… Man, she's good. Joaquin blows your mind, but that she could keep up with him, and be real — and not just wiped off the screen by what that role is and what the performance is — shows she's good." https://deadline.com/2024/07/casting-director-francine-maisler-joker-folie-a-deux-lady-gaga-austin-butler-sarah-snook-1236002327/ 8 4

Puttanesca Posted July 6 Posted July 6 Happy for the Lee praise but I'm gonna need to be bumping LG7 on the way to see the movie if she really wants to excite me.
