I 100% agree. Most of Chromatica is mixed like a pop album, instead of the house music that inspired it. The lower end doesn't hit nearly as hard as it should. I hope that the next time she releases dance, the soundscape is a bit more "Padam-ish", for example.

Yeah, reminded me more of being in holiday in Majorca in 2006 as a kid like a holiday euro pop vibe. She delivered with what was on the tin. but it wasn’t like really taking the concept far and putting production at the forefront.

I am not really counting on her to be on Ari album. 

 

When I didn't see her name on "Late Night Feelings" by Mark post Joanne and ASIB, I pretty much got my brain wired to only expect Gaga on album by 60+ daddies.

Poker Face did almost 900k streams (891k) on a Wednesday. Bad Romance isn't far behind at 883k. Let's hope they keep the growth up (and I especially hope Poker Face actually ends up on Fortnite sooner rather than later).

The fact that Monster is stable in her top 20 most streamed daily, with around 150k ever since Halloween.  

 

Another big album track, I love how she keeps snatching those. I know it will keep rising and rising every year until it goes actually viral. Gaga should keep performing it at her tours.

Yeah I remember the NYE boost last year was outstanding (and seems to be across the board for most pop stars). It'd be great for PF and BR to finally have their 1 million daily streams moment, and it'd be even better if one or both of them could stabilize around that number (which is really why I'm hoping the rumors of PF being put on Fortnite relatively soon are true). 

 

Releasing a new album would be the best for her streams, but we're still in the dark in terms of that right now. But from what I remember, Valentine's Day usually gives her ASIB songs a pretty good streaming boost. I'm sure the news exposure she'll get from the first J:FaD trailer in March or April will help her streams some, and that gradual increase in publicity from then until J:FaD's release will probably help her catalogue out even more. And who knows, maybe we'll get some more album tracks going viral in the interim?

That was kind of the issue with Joanne too. Instead of going full fledged folk/country she infused it with modern pop. It’s a nice pop record, but it did not meet its full potential. Just like Chromatica.
You could even say that about ARTPOP. Instead of going full EDM she mixed it with pop. AP does go hard in some parts, but it could have went even harder if it wasn’t tied to pop. But that is her brand to always include pop. “Pop music will never be low brow”
