Oppenheimer will be huge with the producer's guild and director's guild and a bunch of other technical fields. I really think we're looking at a big sweep, but I'm not convinced Oppenheimer is clearing the preferential ballot for the BP win. But a BD win is a given. 

 

I would have Murphy as the favorite, bigger movie, big event, an actor that hasn't really had a big chance of being in the spotlight, etc.

The new Glenn Close, this will be his 10th nomination, although the fifth for acting, but still..

 

For how much losing sucks but a nomination is still a big achievement, being snubbed is always the worst scenario but I got your point.

 

Cillian Murphy is a great actor, this is tricky, I still have to watch both movies, however I'm rooting for Bradley, I hope he finally gets his moment.. Plus it would be iconic if..

Bohemian rhapsody is a mess of a film, the fact that it probably was top 3 in the preferential ballot based off of it's performance on Oscar's night... The heteros went crazy.

I’ve seen many say others’ direction was better (specifically those who got in over him). Even Denis for Dune missed, which got 10 noms.
