Chlöe Debuts Above Normani On U.S Spotify. Why?

This is not good for Chloe, it’s a very low debut.

But I hope it builds up over time, it’s a good single.

Chloe has everything to be a superstar, hope they play their cards right.

Chloe makes forward pushing songs and she will have logevity unlike the girl from Fifth Harmony (Worth It)

What's the point of this thread? They're both not doing well :rip:

Maybe they should let go of their striptease act and focus on the music instead.

I really like Fair, though. But these two girls are relying too much on sexappeal.

Both are terrible numbers. Both are not happening, I fear..

Omg chill out. Chloe did better with her first single. It just shows that she's going to have to put the elbow grease in to push this.

I really like the song. The video could have been better though.

The R&B audience can be picky. It took them years to embrace Jhené Aiko

because they are contemporaries? they are both new r&b girls with a massive twitter following who came from a girl group. should we compare them to sza or rihanna or beyoncé?

chloes music sounds nothing like normani :deadbanana4: comparing an uptempo pop song to a downtempo rnb song makes actually no sense. fifth harmony to chloe x halle has no correlation at all either. it’s giving only one black girl is allowed to fill a spot in the industry, why else even BOTHER comparing them? theyre both allowed to succeed (or flop) in peace in my eyes

Chloe makes r&b music, Normani makes r&b music. They both have the same target groups and are the current it girls on Twitter. They are both about to release their debut albums It's not that complicated. It's just like how Olivia and Billie get compared

I mean both aren’t anything to celebrate right now. So who cares?

i totally agree bestie honestly i get why they’re compared. my delusional dream though is that normanis stats don’t have to be constantly compared to chloes and vice versa. i don’t like how it encourages people to support one or the other and not both, but i know why it’s done so you’re right

Both are genuinely sad. With as much hype as each have, they're both completely TANKING.

So...these are terrible numbers for both girls. If they don't get it together, Doja's going to be the only black pop girl getting big numbers.

So basically who's flopping the less  :cm:

Not y'all having a mid-off. Also these women aren't even competing with each other.

That might actually be bad for Chloe. Not Normani :rip:

Yes, it's giving backfire.

Mess…. Not you indirectly dragging my girl Chlöe like this omg. This is oddly more of a drag to Chlöe than normani :deadbanana2:

Honestly the Treat Me numbers are horrific.

did better as in? "wild side" was WAY bigger than "have mercy" lmao

and honestly i don't agree in comparing the two but chloe dropped a video and was only maybe 20 spots higher than normani who dropped the song with no video lol. so the comparison isn't giving what you think it is lol.

? Have mercy might not have peaked in the top 20 but aren't they pretty simular in terms of stats? I thought have mercy did a little better even.

no "wild side" is doing amazing on radio and still is. it was #1 on r&b radio for 2/3 weeks and still is in the top 10.

and if "wild side" was #14 and chloe's song didnt peak top 20.. the stats arent similar lol
