The fact is that Florence has no bad songs. Literally not one I hate, even dislike. A few that are just solid, and/or a few that I might not listen to outside of a full-album listen... But bad? No, ma'am!

Say it clear and say it loud - the moment Sky Full of Song was released was such an emotional moment for me, and I still remember the overload of excitement when King was released, too. Ugh. A cultural reset every time she leaves her house I swear to god

I think she'll work with Jack Antonoff again, because the song she composed with him was highly praised by critics, and King and Free were on several best of the year lists. But I also don't rule out Dave, because if I'm not mistaken, last year he said he was in the studio with Florence, (a while ago, Aaron Dessner said he would like to work with Florence, I would like to see them working together).

That doesn't compell her at all lol if she works with Jack again, it's because she LOVED the songs they did together! Can't blame her - Everyone shits on him, but look at the material! I mean!

I think she needs someone who will push her out of her comfort zone and into new territory. Even though each album is very distinctive from the others, I think she's found herself in a VERY "Florence" vibe.. and I think she needs a shakeup, mayve not total reinvention, but something new

I also wanted her to step out of her comfort zone, but maybe she's afraid because of the reception of High as Hope. Although it's not a very different album, it stands out in her discography, mainly because it has a more intimate sound and a greater focus on the lyrics, and compared to the other albums, it is the quietest and most calm. 

 

In the interview she gave to Zane Lowe, she said that she had already proven everything she needed to herself with Dance Fever and that she was ready to think about other things. Maybe this is a sign that she will take new musical directions.

 

(Lately she's been really obsessed with releasing another lungs, because she used Lungs as a reference for both High as Hope and Dance Fever. Although I think DF is a mix of everything she had done before.)
