Absolutely yes, imagine a guitar infused rock power ballad. She would slay a cover of Is This Love by Whitesnake.

Interestingly enough I Want to Know What Love Is was written about Mark Ronson's mom.

I'd be here for dark ballads like Frozen or Lovely with rich instrumentation.

Power or rock ballad, sure - but now isn't the time probably. We need another fun, upbeat pop album first. But as long as it's not just her and piano (an absolute nightmare - no one wants this) it could work :clap3:

Yes a power pop ballad like Diamonds. There was a Dua AI cover on twitter like a month ago and it sounded soo good :duca:

Danny L Harle's production on the Versace show is soooo good. Can't stop replaying

Even if this goes #1 somehow it will never erase the trauma of what happened with Levitating. Even if she somehow gets 10 #1s the trauma of Levitating being ROBBED will be there cuz she could have had 11. I will never care about charts anymore with Dua which is better tbh.

quality wise this is a nice BOP And a nice way to probably exit the disco pop sound for good.

the vocal production Is immaculate :jonny5:

she's never sounded better.

I don't know a better sophomore album

I've had the song on repeat since yesterday. It is a bop and a half, and Dua's delivery is phantastic but I can't help thinking the song itself is not up to Dua's standards.

The "I could dance, I could dance, I could dance" part before the chorus feels out of place to me and in my opinion it makes the song sound a little messy, if that makes any sense. The chorus and the post-chorus are great.

Yeah it's kinda derivative. Almost A*a M*x level.

I think this song made us all realise that we don't want more FN style disco songs.

I’m a delusional stan but this is a phuckin bop. Da beat. Da lyrics. Dua lookin so good in da video.

Basic my ass. Been on repeat since last night.

Not a fan of the song. It's alright but not something I would put on repeat. It's a typical kids soundtrack sounding song. She looks AMAZING in the video though!

It's a cute bop, but not much more than that. It lacks punch.

not crazy over this but i think it serves its purpose for the movie

It might sound like a Future Nostalgia reject but I'm not ashamed to say that I love it :gayalipacat1:

Regarding charts I'm keeping my expectations low (If it goes top 20 I'd already be happy)

I love it so much. her delivery on the chorus with her breathy vocals is heavenly. The bridge is also very fun as well

Right? It's the perfect sendoff to the FN era. I love it.
