I think it’s really unlikely for Nov 3rd to be the date, she’s definitely announcing this week, but I’m at this point 85% sure the single is coming next week not this week, there’s not enough time for the GP to digest the build up and hype if she was to release this week

the GP is not paying any ******* attention to a single announcement, they definitely dont need a full week to digest that they're getting a 3 minute single like..

I know, and I’m not saying it’s necessary for them, but the reality is that marketing at record labels work this way, and ESPECIALLY Dua is known to blue ball the public about her album, I’m not letting yall forget that DSN was released end of October and FN was supposed to be released in APRIL, that’s almost HALF a year apart

yes but one thing is to stretch the areas, the other is to do a miss me post a whole month before... last rollout it was two weeks and it was all prepared.

This time around they seem to be scrambling

It's good as long as the cover art isn't leaking. 

We already know the title is going to be Houdini, and the release date will be announced very soon regardless, so it's fine

There are still a lot of things that can happen between now and Nov. 9 that I personally don't feel like this rollout is overstretched:

The single cover reveal, revealing who the collaborators are, an actual proper snippet, a music video teaser, putting up CDs/casettes for pre-order, maybe a magazine spread to preview the new era and talk about the song…

This is such an unpredictable rollout anything could happen on Friday and Monday next week if it’s not out yet and why would Spotify leak the date first before the artist announcement that’s just shitty to me if I was Dua
